For what projects/services did your company hire Stack360, and what were your goals?

Build a scalable backend while developing and customising the frontend requirements. Build a custom dashboard to track KPIs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Based on excellent recommendations from a trusted source. First and foremost I select engineers based on personality and the passion they have for their craft. I have enough experience to sense when this is the case, such was it when we began working together and it has been an absolutely amazing collaboration on every level.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Too much to list! We have essentially taken an early-stage MVP through a great number of iterations and pivots while at the same time building out an entirely new custom RoR backend with an associated dashboard and user management/admin tool.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Primarily one engineer however the entire team is great. The engineer who we have worked with is one of the founders of the company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Constant support taking our product from more or less inception to full-fledge working production app. More than 2000h of video has been tracked on the platform and it's just the beginning.

Slack, Trello, and communication has always been great with keen attention to detail, and the responsiveness could not be better.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm impressed with the personality and craftsmanship of the engineers. They take huge pride and ownership in the project and that's an understatement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing major that I can think of.
