I’m the CEO of an organic, farm-based brand of dips, sauces, and condiments.

What challenge were you trying to address with Stack Creative?

We hired Stack Creative to support the launch of our brand. A different agency created our name, logo, brand positioning, and packaging, but we wanted Stack Creative to expand on the existing materials and create a comprehensive set of brand guidelines.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Stack Creative team created a full style guide, including logo treatment, packaging improvements, new design elements, and photography. They conducted a major photo shoot for our products. In addition, they made design templates for social media posts. Their team also created our Shopify site as part of the launching campaign.

What is the team composition?

Stuart (Founder & Creative Director, Stack Creative) was my main contact during the project, but they also supplied their entire team to work with other external members. Using his network, Stuart also brought resources from his network, including copywriters and design specialists.

How did you come to work with Stack Creative?

I found Stack Creative through my network. I had been working with other partners for our launching efforts, and this team came suggested through those connections.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $20,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Stack Creative from July–December 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

On a basic level, we were able to successfully launch our online store because of Stack Creative’s support. This ability has been hugely impactful for us. Without their expertise, we wouldn’t have this comprehensive design system that helps our brand succeed. Our identity is consistently represented well because of the work they’ve done for us.

We’ve seen significant growth in impressions, followers, and overall engagement online, as well. The feedback from customers and our audience have been very positive. We’re confident in our ability to present our company accurately and attractively.

How did Stack Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

The dedicated project manager from Stack Creative organized the process and used several tools to keep track of progress. They were able to handle the workload without relying too heavily on me for clarity or support, making the process seamless for me. Their team was action-oriented and had a keen eye for detail, which ensured the project kept moving forward.

I could trust their team’s capabilities. If the project called for additional resources, Stuart used his network and scaled the team as necessary. They worked professionally and delivered everything at a high quality within the set schedule.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As a CEO, it was extremely valuable to me that the project could run easily and without substantial oversight. There was a significant amount of trust between our teams, resulting in high-quality work. Even though the work was challenging, the entire process was satisfying.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d recommend Stuart continue to grow his network with the right people to deliver quality work.
