I'm the CTO of AlarmHive. Our company specializes in developing custom CRM web application for security dealers.

For what projects/services did your company hire SQRD.tech, and what were your goals?

Maintain and develop multiple API microservices written in .NET Core C# as well as front end UI application written in ReactJS. Manage database entities via Entity Framework, manage event handling and logging.

Highly professional and likeable staff combined with the strong developer resource base for a competitive price were decisive factors in leaning toward their services.

The workflow is Agile based with 2 week sprints and regular standup calls and constant line of communication. An engineer was responsible for upholding his sprint commitment and delivering quality code as well as conducting necessary verifications and tests during the lifetime of the feature.

One Senior Developer worked with us at the moment. Looking forward to expanding and continuing our collaboration with SQRD

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Most of the tickets committed by SQRD engineer were delivered on time with couple spillovers that were due to underestimated scope.

Highly proactive staff in terms of communicating and responding to requests. Project management wasn't part of SQRD services for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The management aka the people behind the process. Their flexibility, openness, and laid back approachable communication have helped establish a friend-like connection.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'd say, it would definitely be beneficial for SQRD to streamline their dev marketing process. For one, when sending info about potential candidates, attach their resume with detailed skillset, English level (based on standardized metric), codility assessment score and the link to prerecorded video about the candidate talking on camera about his experience and some challenges he had to overcome on some projects. This would help clients sift out candidates before they even commit to an interview.
