I’m the Marketing Director for a company offering data and analytics solutions to companies in a global market.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sprak Design?

We developed new products and solutions and were expanding in different industry segments, and were getting a growing response from our international clients. The decision to make our website elegant, simple, customer-oriented was the main objective to revamp the website design revamp and expansion.

We had already contacted a few design studios and were not very satisfied with their work. Their designs and ideas were not ideal for our industry segments and target markets. Språk Design had worked for many types of IT companies and also had exposure to the markets we were targeting. Their design team was able to understand our web design requirements within a short time.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A business associate referred us to Språk Design. We had a few meetings and found that the company would be competent in meeting our web design requirements.

Språk Design revamped the design of our website. We also asked them to develop designs for 50+ pages addressing different geographies, different industry segments, new products and solutions, landing pages, content marketing pages for blogs, articles, case studies, etc. The project manager was our point of contact. Their project approach was simple and efficient. A timeline was created.

An online task monitoring resource was also created. All deliverables were shared through the online resources, and updates were sent through emails as well. The review sessions made the project iterative as changes were made based on various feedback from selected stakeholders. Språk Design had the resources to handle everything very efficiently. The company has its remote team to manage any additional work without disturbing the schedule.

Språk Design had assigned a dedicated team for our project. Am not sure how many people were there. The in-house team might have 7-10 people working dedicatedly for us. Some types of design jobs were also outsourced by them to the freelancers they trust.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our company is very happy with their work. We also had our website reviewed by some key stakeholders and received good feedback.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Språk Design is an experienced company with a highly professional approach. Their project management was systematic and well-organized. There was never any problem with anything. We could connect with them through email, Skype, our social business accounts, etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to deliver on time and their creativity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None as far as our work was concerned. This company has a professional approach. As a client, we need to be equally efficient so that work deliverables are managed efficiently

We have been in the recruitment and staffing industry for half a decade. This year, we decided to revamp our content marketing strategy focused on upselling and connecting with old clients.

The strategy involved creating exceptional email marketing campaigns using content resources such as company presentations, case studies, etc. The old designs were too basic, and we wanted to represent the new strengths and communicate an elevated brand image. The designs needed to align with that strategy.

An ex-colleague referred to this company. We contacted the firm to check what their designers could do.

Språk Design has a very strong team of in-house designers, artists, illustrators, and other creative professionals. They also have a network of remote teams and freelancers. The company had already worked with recruitment sector firms.

Their designers could quickly understand what we needed and had a good notion about the target industry segments. We were in a hurry and needed work to be fast-paced. They assigned a team of 10 professionals who worked dedicatedly on our project for a week, and the project was completed very quickly and efficiently too.

Within a day, we already had been presented with different design options and references and they started work on the design briefs selected by us. Their creativity is outstanding. We could never have imagined that level of design detail for our company’s content marketing and email marketing campaigns.

I interacted with the design project manager for the most part. There were ten designers at their end working on our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had experimented with a few inactive clients and wanted to gauge the response and impact. The response was great.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their project management was smooth. Most of the communication was email-based. All deliverables were managed through a shared online resource with status updated on time. Virtual Meetings were conducted through Skype.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am impressed with their quick turnaround time, flexibility, and affordability (they had a good pricing model). I appreciate the ability to get great work done in a fast-paced manner.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the head of the division for educational app development for children. We offer various web and mobile app-based learning opportunities for children of different age groups between 8-15.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sprak Design?

We wanted to revamp our UX to make our apps a delight for children, something they can use without depending on parents or an elder. An app that can keep them engrossed while improving their interaction abilities.

But children between 8-11 years, for whom the app was made, could not easily use the app without someone helping them manage it. This was a major challenge as kids could not use this app freely and independently, and the motivation factor decreased.

SOLUTION

How did you select Sprak Design?

We had researched about 10 companies, and Språk Design was the best fit based on a sample work we had assigned to the vendors.

The process was quite iterative. Initially, I and my team of educational content creators and app developers collaborated through virtual meetings and shared different ideas and insights over the course of one week. The design head at Språk Design was keen to make it as kid-intuitive as possible.

Based on the suggestions, we also consulted with pediatric psychologists to ensure that children with different abilities could also easily interact based on the right visuals and icons. The Språk Design team prepared a questionnaire so that they could get all inputs for reference and documented insights from all meetings. They prepared the UX design project documentation in a manner that made easy reference to understanding what was needed at different stages of the UX design process.

The actual design work was carried out based on a schedule, the deliverables were provided and reviews and feedback sessions were conducted. This was an iterative process, with many changes made as and when new insights came in from both ends.

Four members of my team worked with four members at Språk Design. I had my product designer, content developer, and application developer working as a team here. The design head, project manager, and two designers interacted with us from their end.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new UX design by Språk Design has a strong visual management system that is so easy for small children who are aged between 8 and 11 years that they can easily use it as they want without any help. We tested the modified version with the first batch of 10+ children of different aptitudes, and we found that they could play with the app and interact with ease.

They navigated without fuss and enjoyed their experience. The graphical presentation, in fact, made it fun for the children to understand what they need to do, how to move their lips, make sounds, and sing and pronounce words, etc.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Språk Design had prepared an approach to post our first virtual meeting. They had already studied about our company, understood our mission and objectives, and the efforts we were making for making learning democratic and accessible to everyone.

Their approach involved a few sessions of consultative discussions through which they could prepare an outline of the project and the project documentation. They asked us a lot of questions about our target audience and prepared a questionnaire that helps both teams be on the same page with regards to desired user experience for the target users. Then a schedule was prepared with deliverables decided for each stage of the project.

Their project manager could be reached through messaging systems, phone and email. The contact details of the Design Head was also shared with her messaging Id and email id.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dedication and initiatives made our project seem like theirs. The Språk Design team was as motivated as we were to get the children’s app done beautifully well. They were always ahead of the schedule, very quick and efficient work management. The company completed work well before the deadline

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really - they inspired us with their level of commitment, creativity, and enthusiasm. In fact, their design head was so keen to make it work for the children that her suggestions gave us new ideas to improve our content too.

I’m the head of a retail firm offering furniture and fixtures.

I established my company in 2018. We are a family-owned business. Our primary challenge has been to enter the designer furniture market. We got simple projects for two years, orders from small offices and restaurants, small homes, etc, and could not win a major deal. The key problem was we had no strong branding to impress our target audience despite various efforts.

We approached Språk Design to build a strong brand identity and were ready to redesign our logo and create a new image through our brand promotion campaign that would work well for our goal achievements.

Språk Design was referred to us by one of our customers who highly appreciated their services. We decided to contact them and find out about the company.

Språk Design has been a very dedicated partner for us in our branding initiatives. They started with research and asked us also to conduct target market research. We compared notes. The Språk Design project manager consulted with his head of design, and they did a gap analysis purely from a market perspective. Their experience in our industry helped us to gain new perspectives.

We understood that we were not addressing the right target audience of architects and interior designers. Also, our logo, brochure, and digital marketing designs were not displaying the right image. An entirely new process for branding was developed by the Språk Design team.

Within 2 months, we had redesigned all our branding and digital marketing materials. The pace was really fast, and we were delighted about their fast delivery and great designs. Språk Design redesigned our logo, our brochure, our web layout and backgrounds, and certain page elements, our portfolio documents, email marketing visual content, and the renderings of our furniture images, among other things.

The project manager, three graphic designers, a brand consultant, and an external firm to which they outsourced some part of the design work.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our firm had won two good deals within three months as our brand promotion campaign was a good success. We are also in conversation with several new clients for designing the furniture for their villas.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Språk Design has a very systematic approach and project management methods. They schedule deliverables in an efficient manner, and everything from review, iterations, revisions are included in the timeline so that nothing is out of track. A communication plan is shared right from day one. We know whom to contact at any time, and they have their own online reporting systems helping us keep track of everything with ease.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Three things that I have always admired working with them: First, Språk Design has the kind of resources to offer high standards of services. Nothing is out of scope for them. Second, they have a wide talent network allowing them to offer very affordable service deals or packages. Third, their timeliness and systematic way of working.

I have had no problems or found anything lacking as far as our services were concerned.
