Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the office manager of Plumbers & Pipelifters Local Union #441, located in Wichita, Kansas.

What challenge were you trying to address with Soteria Technology Solutions?

We wanted secure IT service from someone on whom we could rely if we had an issue. Obviously, we also wanted to stay up-to-date with technology because we didn't have someone on staff to take care of that side. Therefore, we reached an agreement with Soteria Technology Solutions to take care of our IT needs for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Soteria Technology Solutions takes care of all of our IT needs because we don't have anyone on staff to do that. Whenever we need to purchase a new computer or fix one of our existing ones, their team does that for us. Additionally, they offer cloud hosting services, including everything it entails to have a secure service.

Soteria Technology Solutions' services are both on-site and remote. if they can do things remotely, we definitely use that option a lot, which works out really well. However, if we need them to come on-site, they do that as well.

What is the team composition?

I don't know if there are specific technicians assigned to our account. We've worked with Bodie (COO) and Paul (vCIO & Project Manager), who oversees the IT department. If we need new equipment, we go to Paul, and he takes care of it. We've also worked with engineers on different IT levels, including Christian and Alex (Tier 1 Support), as well as Eugene (Tier 2 Support) and Stuart (Account Manager & Support Technician). They all work together very well.

How did you come to work with Soteria Technology Solutions?

Someone I had worked with in the past referred us to them. Before hiring them, we were working with another person, but their organization was bought by Soteria Technology Solutions. Therefore, it was a very fluid transition for us, as someone from their organization was already familiar with us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $4,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since around June 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Hiring Soteria Technology Solutions put us in a very good position when the COVID-19 pandemic started because they had already moved us to cloud services. We've been in partnership for several years now, and the fact that we've continued to do things remotely is excellent. If, for whatever reason, there's a weather situation, we're able to log in from home and take care of our business. Over the years, we've had less than 1% downtime, which is great.

How did Soteria Technology Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Soteria Technology Solutions delivers on time and on budget, and they communicate well with us. Our communication channels depend on the circumstances. Usually, we submit a request via email, which their ticketing system turns into a service ticket. Still, I can also simply give them a call.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I would like to give a shout-out to Bodie. He has been our go-to person for many years, so I definitely rely on him.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Soteria Technology Solutions always tries to keep us up with technology, which sometimes is a bit daunting for us to understand. Still, they do a really good job of explaining it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing they could improve on; they've done a really good job so far.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Sit down with them, go through what you're looking for, and hear what they can advise. That way, you will both be on the same page, and your expectations will be met easily. Soteria Technology Solutions does a really good job in that regard.
