We were in search of developers for our in-house team because we're a startup company.

SoftTeam provides remote IT staff augmentation services for our company and works on our projects' needs. We started with a small task, which SoftTeam completed within a few weeks, delivering a fast website. From there, SoftTeam started working with us on an ongoing basis for various months and has supported us in our platform's development. 

We've sent profile requests to SoftTeam, and they provide candidates for us to choose from. We've selected five developers who work on our platform and offer support.

We initially started working with five teammates from SoftTeam, but now we have eight teammates involved in the project. The team consists of four backend developers, two full stack engineers, and two QA specialists.

SoftTeam was recommended to me by a colleague who also works in the cryptocurrency industry and had previously worked with the team. We were looking for a team who could work using our technology stack. We talked to different outsourcing companies, but we needed a service provider who could offer developers to work as part of our team, and that's why we chose SoftTeam.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a previous experience with a different service provider, and our team's performance rates have grown every month since partnering with SoftTeam. Our performance rate has increased by at least 20%, and our software works correctly. SoftTeam provides fast and sharp developers, and the entire team is great.

How did SoftTeam perform from a project management standpoint?

SoftTeam meets deadlines and effectively manages our backlog. Our team handles the project management, and we submit plans as we go. We have a fixed budget, and SoftTeam stays within our quote. If we require extra resources, we modify the budget. We mainly communicate with SoftTeam via email and Google Meet. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed with the team's work quality — SoftTeam's developers are doing an excellent job.

I can't think of anything for SoftTeam to improve on.

We hired them to do custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Smart Soft Team has developed our internal CRM system with an admin panel and other things. We started with the project documentation, analysis, and prototype. We internalized our requests and needs and prepared the project with the business analyst, project manager, and product manager. After that, we moved to the design prototype to do the mock-ups. We did 3–4 examples and chose one. Then, they made corrections and moved on to development, using sprints and their own testing methodology.

The main feature is that we can accept all cryptocurrencies and add new ones. Since our services are for big players in the market, there are custom services that we can provide personally without any personal data needed. Additionally, we’ve decided to create our CRM because we want unique features, such as automated messages and sales funnels. The customer will receive the feedback, information, and product support faster.

We’ve had about 25–30 people on the team. We have a project manager, business analysts, system analysts, a system architect, designers, technical team leads, software engineers, and QA people.

We started working with them in January 2021, and the project was completed in January 2022. However, our relationship is ongoing.

When we created the software, we agreed to have specific KPIs. The first one was the speed of customer support, which number we’ve increased. We’ve also increased the number of cryptocurrency transactions, which is now 1.5 times more than expected. Moreover, all of our clients have given positive feedback.

The software team uses Jira, which allows us to see and track the results. Additionally, we use Google Meet, direct calls, and another platform similar to Google Meet to communicate.

They were really good at communicating and I didn’t experience any problems working with them — we got the results we wanted. They helped us improve our marginality by about 20%, as well as the overall performance of our employees in general.

They performed well. We had weekly meetings every Friday, and everything went smoothly and fine.

They were always in touch with me, and they understood how to solve my problems professionally.

I can’t think of anything they need to improve. Maybe they can give me a discount, but thanks to them, I’m able to save money and their solutions are incomparable.

The main request from our company was to create the best user interface and functionality. We received 5 different prototypes and mockups based on the customer journey map and analytics from the sst team.

Based on the long and carefully choosing of the right solution we received an estimate of the development part. In the end, they delivered a great application.

We launched shop and receiving profit from it, I think that's the best outcome. Also, we don't have any technical issues on the customer journey (from going to the platform to making a payment and receiving goods), that's a good result.

I received an excellent recommendation from the owner of another fitness company. Our main goal was to find a company with experience with positive results in the fitness industry.

The first and central parts were putting all our processes on paper (they used BPMN 2.0 for that) and creating the CJM, and then they provided a few variants of solutions, prototypes, and designs. As soon as we accepted them, they started to develop the solution. They use a fantastic project management instrument which allowed me and all my team to track all results of all steps with online access in real-time.
