I’m the owner of RAFIT Services. We build sites for small to medium-sized businesses as well as mobile reward platforms.

What challenge were you trying to address with Softnotions Technology?

We needed support across the board for web and mobile app development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Softnotions Technology supported us in a wide capacity for all of our projects. Most of our programs focused on the end-user experience, so we don’t delve much into internal operations. However, they’ve augmented our development team for a myriad of small and complicated apps.

Our projects and features included: public event calendars for businesses, a notification system for companies to quickly notify customers, and asset tracking for large industries. They’ve also helped build complex systems that connected multiple vendors to end users as well an in-app auction component.

What is the team composition?

Currently, we work with a project manager or a program manager because we want to ensure a single point of contact. The manager collaborates with our development and end-user experience teams.

How did you come to work with Softnotions Technology?

I searched for freelance workers online before finding their company. After conducting interviews, we decided to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $150,000 thus far.

What is the status of this engagement?

Work began in April 2014 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Softnotions Technology has been proactive in customizing data according to our needs, so we don’t have to reformat their information and integrate it into ours. They have a diversified set of coders with artistic talent who can adapt to any project requirement; they augment the gaps in our internal team’s skill set.

They’re equally competent in back and front-end development with no major coding issues; if there are minor points, they correct them in a timely manner.

How did Softnotions Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project manager has been good at communicating and keeping timelines. Throughout the engagement, we’ve developed an excellent streamlined creation process and working relationship. They track most of the work through Slack and use Jira to log project schedules from the top down.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We value their dynamic work ethic, which allows them to integrate well with our team. They’ve worked to ensure that our clients understand the scope of the project before we start. Afterward, they’ve been flexible in negotiating minor updates beyond the initial project scope to ensure customer satisfaction.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are no issues. We wouldn’t work with them if there were.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Working with the program and product managers worked well for us to maintain accountability. We knew that someone was always responsible to cover our needs. Customers should make sure that their work process aligns well with Softnotions Technology’s process to meet expectations.
