What Sets Us Apart

Proof before you pay

Every claim is public: 7 WordPress core changesets, Meta credits, 10 WordPress.org badges and 8 plugins plus 2 themes that passed manual review on WordPress.org. Check profiles.wordpress.org/softglaze and github.com/softglazee before you hire.

You work with the developer

SoftGlaze is one senior developer, not an agency. No account managers, no junior hand-offs and no outsourcing. The person you talk to is the person who writes, tests and ships your code, so answers are fast and nothing gets lost.

Clean, standards-first code

Built to WordPress coding standards with staging first, a written scope and fixed quote before work starts, and a handover your team can edit safely. Bilingual and right-to-left builds, schema markup and Core Web Vitals are part of the job.

Commonly Asked Questions

You work directly with Azhar Ali, the developer who writes your code. There is no account manager in between. We agree the scope in writing, then I share a staging site early so you can see real progress, not slides. Most clients talk with me on email or WhatsApp, with a short call whenever a decision needs one. I explain technical choices in plain language, flag risks before they become problems, and keep a simple task list you can see at any time. Agencies that hire SoftGlaze for white-label work get the same direct line, under their brand.

1. A short call or written brief about your goals, users, current site and deadline. 2. A free review of the existing site or idea, with the main issues and options explained honestly. 3. A written scope and fixed quote, so you know the price before any work starts. Rates start at $15 per hour and projects start at $500. 4. Access is shared securely, a staging copy is set up, and backups are taken before anything changes. 5. Work starts with the highest-value tasks first, and you see progress on staging from the first week.

Custom WordPress websites and block themes, WooCommerce stores and checkout work, WordPress plugin development, PHP and Laravel web applications with React front ends, site rescues after a hack or a critical error, speed and Core Web Vitals work, and technical SEO with schema markup for service businesses. Recent work includes a Dutch clinic comparison and booking platform, a Dutch home services marketplace, and a multi-site WordPress and SEO portfolio for a Dubai notary and legal practice in English and Arabic. Agencies looking for a reliable white-label WordPress developer are welcome too.

Success is measured against the goal agreed at the start, not against effort. For a new site that means it launches on time, loads fast, passes Core Web Vitals and is easy for your team to edit. For a store it means a checkout that works on every device and orders that arrive with correct invoices. For a rescue it means the site is clean, updated and hardened. For SEO work it means search console data moving in the right direction for the pages we planned. Every project ends with a clean handover, and the best measure is that clients come back with the next project.

Plain, regular and written. You get prompt replies, a short update whenever a milestone lands, and a clear note when something needs your decision. Changes are tested on staging first and you see them before they go live. For ongoing work I share a simple log of what was done, what is next and anything that needs attention, such as plugin updates or security notices. I work in English and Urdu, and I am used to working across time zones with clients in Europe, the United States, the UAE and Pakistan.
