I am the Marketing Manager of Feather Down Group

Describe what your company does in a single sentence.

In 2003, Luite , formerly of Disney and Centre Parcs, set out to create a new kind of holiday experience. Together with farmer Sytse , he opened the very first Feather Down farm at Het Boshuis in the Netherlands. The idea was simple: give people the chance to slow down and reconnect with nature by staying in canvas hideaways on working farms. What began as one farm has grown into a network of more than 50 farms across Europe, with Feather Down stays now found in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Belgium. At Feather Down, we partner with farmers to create unique countryside escapes in some of Europe’s most beautiful rural landscapes. Guests step away from busy modern life and rediscover simple pleasures - open space, fresh air, campfires, and the rhythms of farm life. In the UK, our stays are known as Feather Down Farms, while across Europe, our sister brands BoerenBed, Un Lit au Pré and Wiesenbett - each translating to “a bed in a meadow” - capture the simple countryside experience at the heart of what we offer. By working closely with farmers, we support farm diversification while giving families an authentic way to reconnect with the countryside. Because sometimes the greatest luxury is simply time in nature.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Socially has been working with us to increase our brand awareness and become a spokesperson in the media for glamping and family holidays. The team has proposed an overarching strategy for brand awareness. We've also worked specifically on a destination detox campaign over the last four months. It has involved obtaining research from an independent research provider, which the team has managed from the start.Socially has taken that information into several PR pieces where we've had national coverage. We've used an expert spokesperson on the benefits of children being outdoors. At the moment, we're in the final phase of the campaign, where we've had families staying at the farm doing a digital detox. We've had coverage across social and press media. Alongside that specific campaign, Socially has been doing regional coverage on various topics that are relevant to us, both B2B and B2C. Several press releases written by the team have gone out and appeared in different media outlets, including tweets and regional newspapers. We've had a mixture of print and online publications. We've also been featured in a radio interview with contacts Socially has regarding some farming hot topic news.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Through the digital detox campaign, we've seen increased social media followers. We've gained about 300 new followers directly from that campaign. Regarding overall website traffic, it's hard to ascertain it specifically to PR because we have other campaigns and channels. Our organic website traffic has doubled year on year.

Their social integrity and honesty, communication skills, and the media coverage they secured for us were impressive. Since November 2025, we've had 51 pieces of coverage, which have reached nearly 12,000,000 people.

Socially Powerful's work has resulted in great engagement via our new social media channels. We've also seen increased traffic and new leads coming in via social media.

Socially Powerful's project management is extremely professional. The team delivers on time and has no issues with the quality of the service. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

I'm impressed with Socially Powerful's account management team, which has guided us through the entire project.
