I'm the managing director of SMR Social, a social media management and marketing company based in Cheshire.

For what projects/services did your company hire Socially Inspire, and what were your goals?

Our website had fallen down the rankings for search terms that we used to be top for, so we looked to Socially Inspire for help.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Socially Inspire was pleasant, friendly, and able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of SEO. They were at the higher end of our budget but we're very glad we choose them instead of other cheaper providers.

Socially Inspire will be able to provide more information on what they actually did to improve our SEO but I'm aware it included content, backlinks and some Google ads.

I mainly spoke with Jag who managed the whole project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We genuinely received a lead within the first weekend after Socially Inspire started working on our SEO. It was a smart home provider in London looking to increase its presence on Social Media. Since then we get thousands more visitors to our website and blog, which has led to more enquiries and a more engaged audience.

One key aspect of Socially Inspires's project management style is good communication. This involved using a variety of tools to keep us informed about the progress of the project, such as email, phone, and project management software. Timeliness is also an important aspect of Socially Inspire's project management style. This meant setting and meeting deadlines, as well as being responsive to our inquiries and requests for updates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

To be honest it was the quick results because we weren't expecting them. But overall it's the communication with Jag. He always has time for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We perhaps are a bit in the dark about all of the finer details of the project, but that's more out of us trusting Socially Inspire to do their job as they're the experts. I'm sure if we requested more information they would've been happy to show us the nitty gritty aspects of their work.
