I am the Public Affairs and Social Impact Officer for a social innovation startup

For what projects/services did your company hire Social High Rise?

We hired Social High Rise to help us with our Social Media Marketing. We are a start-up firm in the Social Innovation space.

What were your goals for this project?

Goal #1/ Phase 1 ( 6-9 months) : Establish a Social Media Presence on Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and Twitter: Consistent posting, sharing message of service, Garner Awareness on the work engaged in and Establish credibility from industry professionals.

Goal #2 / Phase 2 ( 1 year) : Use the newly developed audience to start target marketing for possible opportunities.

SOLUTION

How did you select Social High Rise?

Located them online and decided to trust the CEO Mark, who I spoke with directly, that they could handle the work and had a staff member with knowledge of Social Impact work.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Develop Social Media Strategy that included a Brand Voice, Messaging Strategy.

What was the team composition?

We provided a Communications and Stroy-Teller Assoc Manager to help them with understanding our Brand Social HIgh Rise provided a Social Media Manager to create a Social Strategy and Execute a Plan

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We left with Social High Rise owing our firm money/content.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We quickly realized that there was no clear internal organizational or operation al process which manifest in a breakdown with their client. They had no workflow process for customers nor for our campaign > It lacked a process for communication, design of a campaign/ program and its execution.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Nothing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Social High Rise did a horrible job. There Social Media Manager had a antiquated approach to managing social media. They were not able to translate their process in the restaurant industry to our vertical in a innovative or creative way. They took a "one size-fits all approach" .
