BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CTO of IT startup One Click (Israel). We are a Computer Help service company focused on newcomers/retirees. That is, if there are technical problems, our specialist connects remotely and solves these problems.

For what projects/services did your company hire Smart Solutions HR provider?

We launch projects from the field of software and technology. Our company is quite young. To ensure that our startup would work to its full potential, we were looking for a team of professionals. The main emphasis was finding a part of Ukraine's development team.

How did you select Smart Solutions HR Provider and what were the deciding factors?

At the end of 2020, we planned the launch of the project and looked for a partner who would provide us with support for this launch. And at the beginning of 2021, we decided that we were going to work with Smart Solutions. We initially thought they would only pick us as a development team.

Still, after evaluating the advantages of working with them, we realized that we also needed an in-office support team.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We initially sought professionals in another country to optimize the project's cost but not lose quality. To do this, we needed not only to find a project team but also to provide it with everything it needed to work. We were starting from simple needs, such as office rent, to more complex ones, such as calculating and paying wages.

Describe the recruitment process in detail.

For the full launch of the project, we needed 10 developers and a support team of 20 professionals.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We successfully launched the project in February 2021, after 3 weeks of cooperation with the HR provider. We also developed a system of incentives for our employees. Smart Solutions undertook all the work with benefits for the team. Most of the team is still cooperating with us.

We have replaced several employees from our support team during the project; our partners also supported the entire process.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our communication was very effective. Already at the first meeting, we identified priorities and vectors of work. On the 10th day, we looked at options for locations for our future office. We formed a team fully in 3 weeks. In my opinion, this is a great result, which confirms the company's professionalism.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am impressed with the team's speed with which we've launched the project. I thought that only startups could launch so quickly. A nice bonus was a month of free accounting support for our developers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We continue working with Smart Solutions to confirm that the company is trustworthy. We give our partners recommendations on how to improve the work process. In our opinion, this approach is the only right one because what needs to be improved in our case will seem appropriate to someone else.
