What challenge were you trying to address with Sleek?

We hired Sleek to incorporate our company in Singapore and process my work visa. Now they provide ongoing accounting work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with shoebox accounting. When I signed up with them, they asked for old bank statements. Then they onboarded us onto Xero and a few other tools they use for receipt collection and payroll.

Now I send them invoices and receipts to log in to our accounting platform. They also handle customer reimbursement, bank balances, and credit card balances.

What is the team composition?

I worked with one person for my business registration and visa and now I work with another specifically for accounting.

How did you come to work with Sleek?

I found them on Google. I like supporting new companies, so I reached out to them directly. I sent them a message and ended up meeting with one of their sales reps. They were very friendly and provided personalized service.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $10,000–$20,000.  

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2020 and our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve done a great job taking care of everything. Consequentially, I really don’t have to do much. They’ve been very professional.

How did Sleek perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very good at reminding me of upcoming deadlines. For example, I don’t keep track of government filing deadlines; they remind me in advance to make sure that we’re compliant. They’re also very responsive.  I prefer to contact them through email, but we’ve also used Google Meets and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate that I can work directly with the people who are handling my work rather than funneling it through a customer service representative. To me, that feels more personalized. I can ask very specific questions and they always know the answer.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have a portal for clients, but it’s very slow. If they had a faster website, clients could be more self-sufficient.
