Customer runs a leisure park / garden with about 1 Mio. visitors per year.They runs dozens of events during their main season like guided tours, weddings, celebrations and more. For theses events staff with different qualifications is required. At the time of the beginning of the project, all these resources were coordinated by telephone / email messages. Staff members communicated their availabilities, someone in the company took notes and tried to staff the events with accordingly skilled people. With 10 people working in the customers event management it was difficult to have an overview on what is going on and who is available at that time to do the job. So we defined the key deliverables as following: Build a web platform for the staff where they can report their availabilities in advance Move the internal planning process for events to a website so events and available resources can be matched Build a staff evaluation process so all events can staffed with skilled people Set up communication between staff end event management so staff people can be pre-booked for an event and they have the chance to accept or decline the booking Allow for the planning of repeating events / time slots for event series

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Solution has been built iteratively to align with the not-so clear customer vision
• Deliverables have been delivered on time and in expected quality
• Presentations on customer side and with all about 50 staff members were a success and people started to work with Version 1.0
• During development we expanded the data model to foreseeable requirements, e.g. staff member compensation for the events they have been assigned to
• Development efforts were as proposed and good value for money has been delivered
