I’m the director of marketing and communications for Habitat for Humanity Tucson.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Single Focus Web?

We hadn’t updated our website in several years, so our biggest goal was to modernize the platform and update it with current content.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Single Focus Web updated our website and made it mobile-responsive. They also added several new features, including animations, blogs, category sorting, and video capabilities.

What is the team composition?

Cecily (Co-Founder & Creative Director, Single Focus Web) is my primary contact.

How did you come to work with Single Focus Web?

We received bids from three companies, so we worked with each to figure out which was the best fit. Cecily proved she best understood our vision and she had a history working with nonprofits, elevating her above the other options. Single Focus Web also was straightforward in their pricing and didn’t try to upsell their services, as some other vendors might.

How much have you invested with them?

Our project has cost about $7,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve had an ongoing engagement since September 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website has received rave reviews from all of our stakeholders, volunteers, and board. Everyone has indicated our site is easy to navigate and has a better overall design. From Google Analytics, we can tell the platform is performing strongly. Additionally, one of our pages is being used as a positive example for other affiliates in our organization.

How did Single Focus Web perform from a project management standpoint?

They gave us a clear timeline, so we always knew when to expect content and images. Everything launched on time. They were very easy to work with because we knew their progress status at every point. Their team was very organized.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The personal attention Single Focus Web gives their customer makes them unique from others in their industry. They really listened to our needs and didn’t push their own ideas on us. We appreciated their care toward achieving our goals.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d suggest they improve.

They’re a great company to work with; I got a great product out of our engagement.
