Simor Labs Inc. is Forat Bahrani's software engineering company in Toronto. We build and fix web apps, Chrome and browser extensions, iPhone, Android and watch apps, and AI features inside existing products. Forat is a senior software engineer who has shipped code for Klarna, Microsoft Edge, ID.me and Robinhood. He built Buy Now Pay Later into the desktop Edge browser, built the coupons system in the Klarna app (55M monthly users) and led the redesign of the ID.me browser extension, which took its store rating from 3.4 to 4.2.
We take on fixed-price projects for founders and businesses:
- App audit, $1,500: a written report on what is wrong with an existing app, why, and a fixed price for each fix. The fee is credited toward a fix sprint.
- Fix or finish sprint, from $8,000: we fix an app that breaks with real users, or finish one a previous team left half done.
- New app builds, from $15,000: an iPhone and Android app in React Native, a native iPhone or iPad app in Swift and SwiftUI, an Apple Watch (SwiftUI) or Wear OS (Kotlin) app, a web app in React and TypeScript with a Node.js backend, or a Chrome or browser extension.
- AI features and agents, priced as a sprint or a build: one AI feature or agent, live in your product, with a test set that scores its answers.
- Monthly retainer, $3,000 a month: fixes, small features and releases after launch.
Every project starts with a written scope and one price. Tests come before code, you get screenshots and a short video twice a day, and you own the code at handover. Bugs in our work are fixed free for 12 months.
