I spent almost 2 days looking for developpers to make it real, I finally found 3 options, and after 10 days of back and forth discussions and consulting with my team, we finally agreed to take SilverSky technology as our business partner.

Once we started to work, they were really reactive and proactive, they helped us see through some blurred lines, they showed us some mock-ups and drawings, we finally agreed on a design.

Two weeks later they came back to us with final design, after some feedback and tweaks we gave our validation to go to the wireframe that was exactly how we wanted

What was the team composition?

We were assigned to a project manager, that took in hand all the project from end to end, I never talked to another team member but according to the project manager they are a team of 25 persons.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is still on work but the team is doing a really good job, sometimes they even anticipate our needs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We mainly communicate with WhatsApp and email, the project manager is really available to help or to answer questions, even during week-ends, the workflow was really fine and light, sometimes we even shared jokes,

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They understood our needs right away, they respond to every request and are always willing to help.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For now I am don't see anything to improve, to better honest the improvements to make are at our level, every problem we had was related to us

We needed a PLC device to be coded with Rasberry Pie. As well as integration into Android/Tablet operating systems

To allow 24-hour delivery to patients in need of prescription Medication via a locker system.

How did you select this vendor?

We supplied Silversky technologies with a dummy unit to test and confirm they were capable of assisting us with the integration of the hardware.

Describe the project in detail.

How much detail? The system is a locker designed to be fitted to a pharmacy store. The shop keeper then places prescription orders into the lockers for patients to collect at their own time.

A code of identity is submitted to the patient so they can access the locker. This is received via SMS to the patient's phone. Once the patient has used the code on our system the locker then opens up and the patient can then collect their order.

What was the team composition?

My self and my senior developer as well as the Silversky Team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are more than happy with the turn out of the project. Silversky has been incredibly accomodating to us as a company and has assisted us after hours.

The communication is always good and we will continue our relationship with Silversky as we do have more projects in the pipeline regarding hardware integration.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is easy and Silversky has a very sharp turn around time. Dates of delivery were honored.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to come up with alternative strategies when we had any issues regarding the integration. Their ideas helped us tremendously.

I'm the co-owner of CANCAN Productions. CANCAN is a full-service film, web and multimedia production studio specializing in interactive storytelling for a diverse clientele. We offer a very personal approach to all of our productions. For what projects/services did your company hire SilverSky Technology?

We developed a marketing microsite for the Chester Water Authority, in their fight against a corporate takeover attempt. We hired SilverSky to help us with a web form app that would allow users to email their local government officials about this issue.

The web app pulls the correct emails from a database based on the address the user enters and matches that address using the Google Civics API to find their municipality, plus their state representative district and state senate district. The users are shown a variety of starter emails to choose from; they can then edit the email and submit to all their reps with one click.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a webform that was easy to use and navigate, and gave accurate info about the reps. Most people do not know who their state reps are, and this would pull it for them.

How did you select this vendor?

We knew them from working with them on another project.

We contacted SilverSky as soon as we know this programming was out of our wheelhouse at CANCAN. We had a video conference to go over parameters, plus several emails to discuss exactly what we needed. They first set up a very simplistic form testing the Civics API function.

That was super helpful and allowed us to debug our process and come up with workarounds for areas not showing up on the API. We fixed them all. It also allowed us to see that we had an additional need, what to do if a user was outside the area that we had identified. So they developed additional functionality based on that need.

What was the team composition?

We worked exclusively with Nilesh. He had a team of programmers working under him.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It works great! It just went live last week, but we've already had 550 emails delivered by 72 unique users.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Nilesh was very organized and communicated well. He told us when we could expect completed work, asked us for feedback, materials and direction when he needed. He is a very effective project manager.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Work was done exactly has we asked and in a timely manner. When we changed scope slightly, they took it right in stride.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, we would work with them again.

We hired SilverSky because we are video producers, not mobile app developers. We could create all the elements for the app (videos and graphics) but needed their expertise to put it together.

The complexity with this app came in because users can click on a list of many signs in categories and see that sign in English or Spanish, and signed by a child or adult. This meant that we had 4 different video versions to show people based on their selected choices.

They also helped us develop a graphical interface for the app. We supplied the graphics and they made it all work!

What were your goals for this project?

This project was to develop a mobile web app that features videos of Religious words/phrases in American Sign Language.

How did you select this vendor?

We found them on Fiverr. We interviewed several vendors there at the outset of this project. We selected SilverSky and have since used them on other projects as well.

Once we described the project to them, we discussed and agreed on a budget, then we had a video conference to go over all the parameters. All other meetings we had by email.

We provided all the video/graphic elements to them and they programmed the app. They gave us a test app that we could send to our beta testers. We made updates, then they helped us submit our app to the Apple Store. We transferred all the files to our databases for hosting the videos.

What was the team composition?

We worked exclusively through Nilesh as project manager. He managed his programmers and designers and communicated with us.

The app us up on the Apple Store right now. Religious Signs for Families. We also went back to them to update the app for newer iOS in late 2019.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very. We always felt like they understood what we wanted and delivered quickly. Nilesh communicated with us and told us things he needed to complete the project. We were on the same page.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The work is excellent. We got exactly what we asked for and at a reasonable price.

We have scoured through freelances sites and search engines for 6 months. After numerous, pre-filtering, settled on Silversky.

It is an app between Wholesalers and Buyers to send and receive product orders. Daily price changes are communicated. Orders are placed and printed via backoffice for packing and delivery.

I only communicated via 1 person. Which makes it easy.

The project was a success. With the client very happy. We have subsequently needed to enhance the app. Silversky was once again on hand to provided the answer.

Very effective 1 on 1 communication.

They provided some insights and suggestions into the functionality of the app. They were willing to negotiate on cost structure so everyone is happy.

Sometimes, cross cultural language is a challenge.
