Signal Shift Labs is a two-person software studio that builds production-ready MVPs for founders and small businesses. We take products from zero to deployed in 8 to 12 weeks.

The team is David Ugale (CTO, 25+ years full-stack engineering experience, ex-Sony Pictures, AWS/Meta/IBM certified) and Ray Kang (CRO, ex-Tesla senior sales leader). The people you talk to are the people who build. No project managers, no junior developers, no offshore handoffs.

We run three engagement types:

Discovery Sprint ($5K-$8K, 2 weeks): Validate your idea with a technical architecture review, feasibility analysis, and a working prototype. Low-risk way to start before committing to a full build.

MVP Build ($30K-$60K, 8-12 weeks): Full-stack product built and deployed to production. Modern stack, clean code, CI/CD from day one, investor-ready on launch day.

Growth Retainer ($10K-$15K/month): Ongoing senior engineering capacity for teams that need to move fast without making a full-time hire.

Our work includes MyFavoriteBands, a music social network with 363K+ artist profiles and AI-powered recommendations built in 12 weeks; MercuryList, an event management platform with Stripe payments, scheduling, and automated reminders; and a Memorial Platform built in Go with PostgreSQL for creating shareable tribute pages for people and pets.
