BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the managing member of a mobile application development company. The mobile applications we develop are unique and provide productivity services to the end user. I invented a new type of mobile applications which increase user productivity in a wide variety of businesses and a variety of productivity applications. The applications are "one of a kind" and no one else has.

For what projects/services did your company hire Shrinkcom Software pvt ltd?

Since I invented the special applications and their processes, I needed to find a company which could actually invent code to accomplish what my objective were. I started with another company with 25 years of experience and a great reputation but after 2 years of work, the company could not develop the special coding needed. I had to start over from scratch. This is when I found Shrinkcom.

The owner of the company is a special individual which loves an impossible challenge. I can only offer praise for this company with their never-give-up attitude. When most all other companies would have given up, Shrinkcom stood the test of time. Through this 2 year process, we have now developed three applications that are practically flawless. We have 10 more applications we are developing with our unique coding and processes.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of my project was to invent processes that did not exist in mobile applications. Creating mobile applications that worked as represented and applications that were very user friendly.

How did you select Shrinkcom Software pvt ltd?

I used a service which has hundreds of thousands of coders for application software. I selected Shrinkcom because of their communication abilities and the price was extremely competitive.

Describe the project in detail.

The project was to create an Automated Digital Assistant which was very smart. The assistant would be pre-emptive (did not have to remember to use it) and the application would always know what was needed before the user had to remember. The assistant would verbally communicate with the user and the user would verbally communicate back. This application virtually eliminates typing in the applications.

What was the team composition?

Since the fist day, a select team of 4 coders and the owner were selected out of a total of 40 coders in-house to complete my project based upon my app criteria. I would always communicate with the owner because of his day to day "hands on" approach to developing applications. Communication on a daily basis was the norm.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Development has been a long process. This is always the case when something new is being invented and new code is being written to accomplish desired outcomes. The current applications finished are automated photo applications that digitally change the metadata in the original photo and allow the user to give the photo a new custom: name, date, author, and description. This is all completed in an automated basis with just talking. The app changes all meta dat in 'Real Time" The applications are totally automated and the user only touches the screen to take the photo, or say a command and take the photo without touching the screen or buttons at all during automation. The outcome is that the amount of time saved is huge in the creation of every photo album that requires custom naming.

The purpose of Shrinkcom is to service their client through good communication skills and provide a team that has never-ending talent, and never says die on an impossible task. It took many months to perfect our new coding and processes. Patience on all sides has paid off with a family of mobile applications that can change the way individuals and organizations complete their work processes and data organization throughout their day-to-day activities. I feel I have received much, much more than I paid for. When they give their word on something, you can take it to the bank. They do not change agreements in the middle of a project. I am looking at many years of synergy with Shrinkcom.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was a daily occurrence. Constant communication is a must and Shrinkcom fulfilled that exponentially on a daily basis.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive thing I can say about Shrikcom is that they never give up on a project. They are laser-focused on impossible challenges like mine was. Regarding contracting and financials, they are flexible to make things work for the client and could not be happier with the result.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Areas of improvement are difficult to define for Shrikcom. Their commitment is like no others I have ever met. Yes, it took extra time to develop my apps. Why? Because I can be very demanding and perfection (or as close as possible to) is a lofty goal. I also kept fine-tuning my application invention. Shrinkcom was very accomodating with my changes. They never lost sight of making me satisfied with the applications I invented.
