What challenge were you trying to address with Shine Dezign Infonet? 

They designed our WordPress website from scratch using Figma.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start, we answered a brief questionnaire they sent us. It talked about our brand, personality, color scheme, and examples of websites we liked and didn’t like. While they didn’t do any hands-on development, they recommended strategies and plug-ins we could use to increase our average cart value and repurchases.

Cyrus was our main point of contact, acting as the project coordinator. We also worked with two other people: one developer and one designer. They also introduced us to their parent company, which has experience with Shopify development.

How did you come to work with Shine Dezign Infonet? 

I found them through one of our sister agencies, who was working with them on a platform that we also use in our business. Their process was very smooth, and they were able to deal with multiple custom modules. Shine was able to handle our complex requirements and respond to us right away with a detailed proposal. Their prices and delivery aligned with our expectations as well.

Our sales volume increased by around 30% within two months of launching the new site.

They were very organized and communicated well with us over Slack. Accessibility was top of mind for them. Shine met all our deadlines; the project was very smooth. We put out any fires that broke out after the launch, and they were very responsive.

For what projects/services did your company hire Shine Dezign Infonet, and what were your goals?

Shine Dezine completely overhauled the back end of a web application used by our customer for monitoring and remote management. They based their redesigns on extensive research, and testing in our development environment.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This was not our first project with Shine Dezine, we have worked with them on smaller backend development projects. We were very satisfied with the quotes we received, and hired them to complete this project.

We met regularly with a project mangers and the lead developer on this project. We explained our problems with the current application and what new features were needed. We got excellent recommendations and suggestions from the Shine Dezine team. When discussing our project, it's clear that they have worked on large variety of projects and have extensive experience. Our application was built on Laravel, which have been very happy with. We got regular status updates on this project and could see the updates in the development environment that was set up for us.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We mostly communicated with four people on our project, but I think there are more involved that we did not speak with directly. We got a project manager who was communicating most of the technical details and project planning with us. They have a business manager that providing daily updates on the development work Graphics designer who was working on the frontend updates. Backend developer who was working on Laravel and our APIs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch our updated dashboard on schedule. The new dashboard, although it looks similar, it is a significant improvement in terms of application speed and huge amount of bugs were resolved making the application so much better to use. We had really outgrown the old application, as a result of customer growth, our old application could not handle the added workload. The new updated dashboard is fast and responsive, and it works without the bugs they used to create so many problems for us.

The project management and discussions are one of the key reasons we choose Shine Dezine. They were punctual and kept their commitments outlined at the start of the project. Meeting minutes were shared with us and that was very helpful on our side to keep track of the points we discussed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Having direct access to an experienced project manager and the lead developer was what mattered most to us. Some other firms do let you meet with the developers on your project and in this case it was clear that our project manager had a huge amount of experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For our auditing, we need a lot of detail on our invoices. I would say if anything, just expand of the level of detail in the invoices. We told the business manager on our project about this requirement and they had no problem giving us very details descriptions on the invoices.

I wanted to have a fitness app for both Android and ios users. From the app the users can register and can take the person training and achieve their fitness goals.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have searched the best web and app development organisations and shine dezign was one of them. After research and checking of delivered projects from the shinedezign I was very impressed.

I had meetings with the experienced project a mangers and explained all my goals. The team has shared me the feature list and created the Sprint plans accordingly. After that the shine dezign team has created the Application designs which were really attractive. We have decided to have app in react-native Technolgy. Once the designs was finalised by me, we moved with the development part.

On the daily basis the team will share the status of the day. On the regular basis I use to test the app and share the feedback on the work done. Team was very responsible and manage their work accordingly to sprints.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As the project was a huge project, once the project completed and uploaded on the App Store and the play store, there was a hug number of downloads with 5star ratings. As the work done by Shinedezign was totally bug free and I loved each and every part they have done for me to achieve my project goal.

The project management style was totally mind blowing. The way they have set are totally transparent. They use AzureDeveops as a project management tool and using Microsoft teams as a communication channel. AzureDeveops helped me to check each and every thing starting from the user stories to the Sprint plans. In each sprint I was able to check the time required for each task and accordingly the burndown chart was created.

The Shinedezign was very punctual regarding timeline and other commitments they told me in the starting of the project. In the communication channel they record all the call/meetings so that if any point they need to check they can listen the recording. The best part is that they share MOM minutes of meeting in which they describe all the discussed points so that me and the team will be on the same page.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Shine Dezign Infonet team members are all highly qualified and experienced developers, which was impressive. Their kindness, patience , knowledge, problem solving skills and the one and the most important point they have done what they have committed in the starting of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don’t believe that such company needs any improvement because everything was well organised and well managed.
