The Seekers team provided sales and business development training for our entrepreneurs and startups. The professionalism and their focus on developing each individual plan for our entrepreneurs were more than useful. Most importantly, after the training, the team didn't just get practical knowledge/skills and guidance on how to boost their business models, but also a structured plan on how to benefit from the market opportunities during the next period. I highly recommend the Seekers team to everyone who seeks to improve or optimize their sales and business development activities and plans.

For what projects/services did your company hire Seekers?

The project was about women’s entrepreneurship and developing the ideas/startups toward a more sustainable business model.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

After an internal team brainstorm and ageny analysis, we selected Seekers becose we wanted someone whoc can work as much practicly possible with our enterpreneurs. Also, since our enterpreneurs lack sales focus, we considered this an important factor when selecting the right consultant. Since Seekers had the sales and business developement as a package, we chose them.

The team was responsible to find the best fit for how different business activities can be applied to our entrepreneurs. The intention was first to get an introduction on which business models they are currently developing, and how can they benefit from other opportunities on the market.

Since the teams didn’t yet have a product-market fit, the consultants needed to dive into each particular startup idea and make some initial discoveries as well. Also, along with business model development, sales tactics also got introduced and worked on for each team.

Two persons. The trainings were conducted by Parnership manager (Filipa) and Joao (CEO).

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Firstly, their insights saved a lot of time for our entrepreneurs. Secondly, they also saved our time, and we could focus on other parts of our programs knowing our entrepreneurs are in "good hands". We good excellent (5) feedback from our entrepreneurs which testifies to the success of the training.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had several calls before, during, and after the training, everything was very fluently agreed upon, they listed closely to our needs and swiftly gave an answer/draft to the program.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Since they are also a startup, the time and focused dedication on every single entrepreneur and their business development were amazing!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything went smoothly. I'll just recommend they continue using their current workflow for all the next projects.

Analyze competitors and their offering, establish a product mix, procurement and pricing strategy for the ecommerce business. Ecommerce setup, from getting the woocomerce up and running, selecting and configuring payment system and delivery system, procuring best suppliers and negotiating prices.

Two people, João on the strategic and procurement part and Filipa on the digital and social media marketing.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I was able to create a new source of revenue that's been up and running for the last few months, already with good results.

We had weekly touchpoints over google meet and now they send me a digital marketing report every month with data on my website visits, shop sales etc.

They were extremely knowledgeable and went to lengths to fully understand my business, my clients and my competitors.

Perhaps switch to zoom because google meet not always works very well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have opened a new shop under the new concept shop strategy which gave us a breakeven in less than two years. When the pandemic hit, they helped us stay afloat with the launch of three e-commerce platforms, selling the products we had in our shops.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Absolutely perfect. Our team is small and we just needed to pitch in for the things we wanted and didn't want. They brought solutions and options.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their technical understanding and pragmatism in planning and executing were impressive. Their assertive and effective style yielded great results.

They are growing fast and I just hope their level of service stays high.
