I’m the founder of a startup. We have a platform for users seeking car wash services.

What challenge were you trying to address with ScaleUP?

We needed a mobile application developed.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We presented our ideas and the desired UX objectives. ScaleUP then created mockups for our approval. From there, they built the mobile app from scratch. Their team developed the backend in React.js, frontend in Node.js, and designed everything using Sketch. The app allows customers to log in and input their vehicle data and location. Then, our team members go to their location to wash the vehicle.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Adi (Founder). There was also a designer and developer working under him.

How did you come to work with ScaleUP?

A friend in the IT business referred them to me, so I met with Adi to discuss the project. My partner and I liked the ideas he presented so we selected them.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September–December 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have any user feedback because we haven’t launched the app yet. However, I’m pretty satisfied with their overall work.

How did ScaleUP perform from a project management standpoint?

Adi oversaw the team on his end. I communicated with him weekly to see demos of the progress made.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ScaleUP was organized and worked independently, allowing me to focus on the business and administrative end of things.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their price is a little high.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The ScaleUP team has great startup knowledge. They also know how to approach customers as well as optimize marketing.

I’m the founder of a tech startup company. We provide an IoT solution to both that B2B and B2C segments that serves as a smart control for buildings, whether homes or businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with ScaleUP?

We wanted to build a webshop for our company and start performing basic marketing activities, so I turned to them to help develop our application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The app they are building is for the web. I communicated our idea for the project, and then they came up with a lot of good ideas for how to implement the UI/UX and started working on the design and layout of the whole application.

The basis of the application is an informational platform where customers can find the details of items that are provided in our home solution. We are working on building out the online shopping features so that once customers find what they like, they can purchase and receive those products.

What was the team composition?

I primarily worked with Adi (Founder) who managed the project, as well as two of their designers.

How did you come to work with ScaleUP?

They were recommended to us by another person working in the space, and they seemed like a good fit for our team, so we decided to go with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent a total of around $15,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started around November 2019 and we are continuing to work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I came to them with my original idea, and they brought an impressively rigorous and creative approach that turned those ideas into a really modern, simple, and stylish design. I am very happy with how everything looks that they have developed for me.

How did ScaleUP perform from a project management standpoint?

We used Google Hangouts to discuss what we’re working on, and I have been completely satisfied with how they address all of the issues that come up throughout development and communicate our progress to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They built a complete product that perfectly matched my vision in a very short period of time. Their design capabilities are amazing, and they have worked hard to accommodate all of the requests I had with regard to any of the features and functionalities of the final product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t anything I can think of that they should improve at this point.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them a try. They have really great knowledge and ideas about what they do, so it is always worth seeing if they would be a good fit for you.

I’m the operations manager for a retail company that produces bakery goods for the domestic market. We have our own shops, export to several countries, and employ around 170 employees.

This year, we opened four shops where we bake and sell goods. We wanted to have a prompt order system from our shops. There needed to be a more natural way to process ordering products to central production.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team at ScaleUP designed and developed our web and iOS application, using React Native and JavaScript.

I worked with the project leader, Adi (Founder, ScaleUP).

How did you come to work with ScaleUP?

I received recommendations. After I explained to their team what I wanted, I sensed that they had experience in this area because of how well they understood me. The project began quickly after that first meeting.

The project cost $12,000.

We started working together in April 2019, and the project concluded in July 2019.

Each scope of work has started with a planning meeting and an understanding of the functionalities, followed by UX/UI design.

After that, the developers implemented the features, which were then tested by QA and reviewed by the client/myself.

Successfully integrate the web application into the existing infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the mobile app and backend.
