Sales Talent Inc. ran a retained search to fill our National Sales Director position, a hard-to-source role requiring a proven hunter in the retail and convenience-store fixtures space. The scope ran the full cycle. Up front, Ashley and Heather worked with us to define the candidate profile, build a scorecard against our must-haves, and identify the right talent pools. From there they sourced and screened candidates against that profile, delivered shortlists of qualified people rather than volume, and coordinated interview scheduling across our team and two sites. Key deliverables: a defined role brief and candidate scorecard; a vetted slate of qualified, interview-ready candidates; ongoing shortlist management and interview coordination; and support through references and the offer stage that produced our finalist hire. Throughout, they were responsive and easy to work with, and the candidates they put forward genuinely fit the brief.

The clearest outcome is the role got filled. They delivered a slate of qualified, on-profile candidates and we identified a finalist for our National Sales Director position, with an offer extended in June 2026 — a roughly five-month search for a specialized, hard-to-fill role. Just as telling: every candidate they put in front of us actually fit the brief, so our interview time went toward real contenders rather than sorting through mismatches.

Project management was smooth and low-maintenance on my end, which is exactly what I wanted. The search took about five months, but that was the reality of finding a specialized hunter for this role, not a delivery problem — they were upfront about the timeline and managed expectations honestly the whole way.
