I’m the president of Alabama Convenience Wholesale, a members-only wholesale distribution company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Salactsol?
To improve our company’s innovation, we needed help with developing a website and mobile app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We wanted a website and mobile app that would allow users to order merchandise directly from us. It needed a login, payment gateways, and integration with our point-of-sale. Salactsol built the site and the mobile app for both Android and iOS devices.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 5–10 people. Mustafa (CEO, Salactsol) was our main point of contact.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $500 and $1,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in June 2019 and ended in November of the same year.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Out of our 150 membership accounts, we’ve seen many app downloads. The app and website are user-friendly and bug-free so far, based on our experience and our customers’ feedback. Salactsol delivered both products on time and within budget.
How did Salactsol perform from a project management standpoint?
For projects like this, the biggest failure can happen in communication—things get lost and there are always hiccups. Salactsol was really good at communicating and taking us step-by-step through the process. They always let us know what phase they were at and kept us updated. We didn’t have any issues with our 12-hour time zone difference.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication impressed us the most, following by their pricing and ability to stick to our budget.
Are there any areas they could improve?
To be honest, this was our first project with Salactsol, and we haven’t encountered anything negative so far. They did what we asked them to do, and they delivered it on time and with regular updates.
