Our Story

We'd both done enough time inside agencies that only delivered half the picture. Jason ran Floeo for over a decade; Dom ran the Yellow Door Collective. Our paths crossed in 2020, and we started Runjack in 2024 to build something that owned the whole thing, start to finish. Six people in Cape Town. We use AI and automation to enhance human creativity, not replace it. No smoke and mirrors, no egos - we're here to get things done.

AI integration is leading everything right now. That means agents that write in a client's brand voice, chatbots over a company's own data, retrieval across technical documents, and AI rolled out across a whole team so it is installed, trained and actually used rather than bought once and forgotten. Alongside that: CRM implementation and the automation between tools that were never built to talk to each other, websites and e-commerce, and monthly marketing retainers covering social, content, ads, reporting and design. We work best with established businesses of roughly 10 to 100 people that have a real customer journey worth fixing. We are not the right fit for a startup still figuring out what it is selling, or for a quick campaign where nothing about how the business operates is allowed to change.

Retainer engagements run in three phases: month one is the map, a four-week audit across six tracks of the customer journey; months two and three are the build; month four onward is the partnership. Early wins usually land inside the first 60 days, and the compounding effect tends to show around month four to six. Minimum commitment is three months, then month-to-month with no lock-in. For standalone projects: a focused, conversion-led business site is 4 to 6 weeks, and a multi-page rebuild with integrations and CRM wiring is 8 to 12 weeks. A clean CRM setup for a 10-person business is 4 to 5 weeks; a full data migration and rebuild for a multi-team firm is 8 to 12 weeks. A strategy and mapping engagement is typically 2 to 4 weeks. An AI Readiness Sprint is 2 to 3 weeks, and a Claude rollout across a team is 4 to 8 weeks.

You work directly with Jason and Dom. The people you meet in the first conversation are the people running the work, so there are no handoffs and no relayed messages. Reporting cadence matches the engagement: monthly on Foundation, bi-weekly on Growth with a quarterly strategy session, weekly on Scale with direct strategy access. You always know who owns what, what is moving and what is coming next. Most of the work runs asynchronously, which is why clients five, eight or ten hours ahead of us or behind us work fine. We integrate into your existing systems rather than imposing our own tools, and we are happy to work alongside an incumbent agency - we do it regularly. What we measure: leads generated, CRM entries, conversion rate on landing pages, email open and click rates, and organic traffic growth.
