Rorko made custom application development for one of our clients from real estate industry and we developed a contact management system for them

We selected Rorko because they are our go-to agency for getting any website consulting, development of app, etc for years and have helped us with PHP related projects

Rorko made a contact management system for one of our clients who wanted to optimize and automate communication with their leads and contacts. The project involved the integration of google API, cold storage, and authentication SSO. The project manager of Rorko started off by providing mock-ups of the project and post the approval of the mock-ups, they helped us build the application. The project took around 4 months to develop and deployed on client's server

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the app, the client was happy with the outcome and especially the ease of usage and user interface. The client's average communication time reduced from 4 hours to 30 mins

The project management tool that was used was ZOHO projects and comm tool was whats app. The team was methodological, strategic, and good at identifying problems. They resolve them within the dedicated timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Rorko has been our long-time technology partner. I have spoken about one project here but we have so far worked on more than 20+ projects as of now of all levels - medium and large. I like the clarity the have, so far the tech team they have is quite experienced and knowledgeable

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing in specific that I can recall here. Considering they have been partners with us for so long, we have worked around the processes, approach, delivery etc in a project to project basis and the team is quite good when it comes to receiving feedback.

I’m the CEO of 7Edge, a custom software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rorko?

As we’re a custom software development company, we get very specific requests that require the usage of certain technologies at which we aren’t very efficient. This situation mainly happens when our customers need web applications or web design. In such cases, and whenever we need to use specific technologies like PHP, WordPress, or Shopify, we partner with Rorko to deliver the work to our customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rorko has been a fantastic partner for us. For one of our projects, one of the leading short-form video and live streaming platforms reached out to us looking for website design and app development, and we collaborated with Rorko on that project. They used PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Technologies for that development, and they helped us deliver a beautiful website for the client.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 4–5 people, including designers and 2–3 developers. We had mid-senior and junior team members collaborating on the project, including senior software engineers, web engineers, and UI/UX designers.

How did you come to work with Rorko?

We’ve known Rorko for quite some time because we share the same geographical location, and we’re both in a similar industry but offer very distinct services. They have capabilities that we don’t, so we subcontracted them to complement our skillsets. Additionally, we have the same educational background, and we’re part of a group of entrepreneurs who started their businesses together.

We spent around $24,000 on this particular project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them on this project from August–December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Rorko was fantastic in completing their part of the project. Overall, they were really good.

How did Rorko perform from a project management standpoint?

They used Asana to manage the project, which helped us build transparency in our communication. Most of our communication with them happened digitally on a milestone basis; whenever we hit a milestone, we arranged a meeting to go through the scope. They had an agile way of doing things that kept things moving.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Rorko is great at web development, web engineering, and UI/UX design, which compliments us very well. They’re also predominant in platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and PHP.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. It was a seamless experience.

I'm the CEO of a modern communications agency based in Bangalore, India.

We had hired Rorko to develop a custom software for one of the clients we work. Since we had a very short notice and timeframe, we wanted a company which could work on tight schedules and finish the project within 45 days. Rorko team led by Parag was able to finish the project well within 45 days.

Rorko was referred to us by one of our group agencies. This was a high priority project with short and tight timelines, so we wanted a company who can work in tight timelines and achieve good results. Parag and his team ensured in delivering on time.

The project manager was great. They met all the deadlines, and the communication from the team was always very clear.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The access to the entire team at all times and their understanding in the project was very impressive. The entire team was always on all the calls and supported and gave their opinions collectively which helped the project to be finished on time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The quality of their work, communication from the team and timelines was very impressive. I did not see any areas for improvement from the team for now.

I am the owner of Yowza Consulting. It's a performance marketing and consulting form.

We had a client who needed their website revamped. They sold auto parts. We hired Rorko as the development partner. Our goal was to have customisation in how the website worked. Products had to be filtered based on vehicle model, etc.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We spoke to people in our circles and Rorko came highly recommended. During the pitch process, we found them to be extremely detail-oriented and they pushed back when they felt some requirements were not achievable. All in all, they ensured we agreed on the terms beforehand.

We needed a website that had the capability to have auto parts listed by manufacturer, make, type and have the facility to be filtered based on the vehicle it was going to be used for. The database architecture was a pivotal piece in this. When we spoke with Rorko we realised they understood this from day one and worked towards project completion without hiccups. The technologies they used were wordpres, PHP & Laravel.

We had 5 people working with us. One was a database architect, two senior developers and two junior developers.

The site was smooth and fast. There were no errors and it was completely SEO compliant.

They set-up the entire project on a project management tool. Timelines were met meticulously and their communication was adequate.

Their adherence to timelines and ensuring our expectations are in line with what is deliverable.

Nothing on this front as yet. We've worked with them on 2 projects since. It's the same quality of delivery.
