Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m Engineering Manager at Dago Style, which is a Ukrainian footwear manufacturer that produces more than a hundred models of footwear both for the domestic market and for export.

For what projects/services did your company hire Relevant Software, and what were your goals?
We contacted Relevant Software with a problem we had in our manufacturing process. Our requirements weren’t clear, so we were looking to receive the proposal from the team. After the detailed discussion of our issues and expectations, we agreed on the Discovery phase to investigate a large number of user types, interfaces, and rather complex business processes.
To reduce risks and additional costs, Relevant proposed to develop a working prototype of the system using a low-code platform. The software should have been implemented in test mode on one production line out of five to better understand the further functionality required. We really liked the idea and approach.

Relevant was recommended to us. The team impressed us with their approach to the requirements gathering and discussion. We really liked their proposal to test the idea with the prototype first and avoid spending a lot of time and budget for the full product development from scratch until we have a clear vision.

Relevant team built us a prototype with the help of AppSheet, which is designed to solve the problems of synchronization, coordination, analysis and optimization of our production. It provides us with the opportunity for employees to report on the number of manufactured products at each stage of production; receive up-to-date information on the readiness of each product and thus plan the work of the shop; monitor the number of manufactured products at each stage of production and prevent theft; save money and staff time by significantly reducing paperwork.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After the system was implemented, the time indicators for collecting and analyzing information were improved. It helped us to decrease the number of errors in product accounting. The application allows reviewing the current state of production from any device at any time, which is also very important for us.
