How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for social media marketers in our area and shortlisted 5. After interviewing them, we chose this agency based on their past clients and cost estimate.

After a kick-off meeting, they helped us identify the best audiences to target on Instagram and Facebook. They then created a posting schedule, wrote our captions, and researched the best hashtags. To coordinate, they used a social listening tool called Hootsuite, which let us track audience engagement. They also created and managed our Instagram ads.

We worked with an account manager and all social media marketing specialists.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our Instagram followers jumped from 2,00000 to 4,70,000 within the first 3 months thanks to their posting schedule and hashtags. Our revenue also increased a lot. About 88% of users who click through our Instagram ads purchase shoes, which means we're earning more qualified traffic.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We met on Mondays to go over the post schedule for the week and review our ad performance. They'd also give us reports that track sales from our Instagram ads, audience engagement, Instagram impressions, and more. For communication, we usually talked over email and phone.

We were impressed by the quality of our followers. They're attracting people who are interested in our product instead of just increasing our numbers.

The Hootsuite dashboard was hard for us to understand at first. Once we told them, they created easy-to-read reports that summarized our social media performance.
