We were recommended by a colleague of ours dedicated to construction and engineering and seeing their portfolio and the professional way in which they approached us, we did not doubt that they were the right ones to work and give our confidence for the project.

The project was composed of several phases (Project description, digital presence, collection of website information, Sales funds, social media, etc.) with which in each meeting information was filled up until the implementation and follow-up of the task. In each of them, tests were carried out to have a better result in terms of image and purpose required.

We are in the initial stage of implementation, I still do not have exact metrics because we want to give an organic timeline that helps us to have better feedback, but the comments on our website, which is more friendly, denote a greater interest in terms of visits.

Their professionalism and customer service, the personalized follow-up they gave us, and the knowledge they show that they know what they do was what impacted us the most and I do not hesitate to turn to them and have them as part of our suppliers.

So far I don't have anything specific they could do better, they are experts in their area and they give us what we have requested.

The company was created 7 years ago, we were only selling through social media, with the pandemic we need to improve, we need to redirect our buyers to a website for more easy access to our products. We hire Redfox to design and build our website. By doing this we increase our traffic and buyers, we hope to double them by March 2023.

We search for a local web developer, for us was important that the developers know the local market to buil our website. We select Redfox because of the cost estimate, the skills, and because they full understand what we want and what our customers want.

We have a meeting, were we express what we want, what was our goal and objectives and our concerns. Then the team deliver mockups and demos on how was going to work the website. After a few meetings after that, the team start to build our wocommerce website the way we want, they incorporate the payment processing feature, the contact through WhatsApp for our buyers.

We were always talk with the project leader and we meet once with the web developer.

After launching the website, we saw a 60% increase in the traffic. Costumers love the easy access to our products, sales double.

Because of my schedule, we have a meeting every week with the project leader, he comunícate with the rest of the team. They were very organized. they send us a time line were we can know what was going to happen that week and when the task were done.

We appreciate the team even sent us reminders to send the information that was pending to send like the products pictures. We use slack and google meeting for communication. The communication were easy.

The project leader, Erick, where very patient with all my concerns, he teach us how to use wocommerce and slack. He were always available if we have a problem or questions on how to use wocommerce or any other concerns. We love our website

We had some missed communication at the beginning, we supposed something that were cover in the beginning price and they were not. We talked and figured things out.

I’m the CEO and owner of Proyectos Inteligentes, a company with three service areas: general construction, construction materials rental, and construction, supervision, and management.

What challenges were you trying to address with RedFox?

We had a project for our construction materials rental area. The process from the moment our client called to the delivery and billing was manual, so it took a long time. We wanted to digitize our rental processes to make them more efficient.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since we started talks with RedFox, we defined that we needed a discovery phase to work on our inner processes so they could understand the workflow. RedFox summarized it in a digital platform we could edit and comment on. We provided them with information about what everyone did in the office, which helped them define the users’ permissions and access.

Currently, we’re in the second phase for invoicing. We’ve requested them to create a dashboard with indicators that can be easily accessed, such as rented equipment percentage, equipment in service, discontinued equipment, and so on. They’ve also added extras to the app.

We’ve worked directly with the owner.

How did you come to work with RedFox?

We found them on Google. Their capacity to offer wholly customized services made us believe they could provide the best added value for this project. We also had a tight deadline, so direct attention and speed were also vital for us. Finally, their cost was also reasonable, but it wasn’t a decisive factor for us.

We’ve spent about $8,000–$9,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started talks in January 2022 and began formally working on the project in March 2022. They delivered the first phase in June 2022 and the initial version in September 2022. After that, we began the billing phase. We’re currently in the process of testing it.

We’ve received excellent feedback on the app from our clients, especially from our largest and most significant ones. They’ve congratulated us because now they can access information they couldn’t before. Due to that satisfaction, we’ve decided to get on board with the second phase of the project.

We have a tight deadline, and they’ve been great at adjusting to our schedules. Our initial meetings were in our offices. Since then, we’ve used Zoom and Google Meet, which as made everything easier for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

From the beginning, RedFox understood our needs quickly; they even sent a quotation the following day. We really value their quick follow-up because we often have to wait for service providers to get back to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their communication with our team. We’re not familiar with technologies, so we don’t often use Zoom, Google Meet, and so on. It took us a while to get that going, but everything’s working well now.

My advice is to have a first encounter with them to clearly define your goals and the project’s reach. It’ll be crucial for the success of your project.

Sure, theres always room for improvement. I would recommend to hire more developers since I see that they are too demanded in the market, so I fear that they could lower their quality if they dont scale.
