How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've got very good recomendations from our partners, after that, we talked with the team, discussed ways of cooperation, they described in detail the processes and stages of our cooperation. We really liked it. From now on, we are working on the discussed and agreed tasks, the project is still ongoing, I think everything will be fine in the future :)

As a first step, we discussed the work plan, created and agreed on the technical task according to the documentation. Divide the project into several stages of work, the first of which was design development. When all the layouts were ready, we checked, corrected what we wanted and approved. After that, web development began. After weighing all the pros and cons, we chose React and Laravel for the project.

The team had a project manager who assigned tasks to all other team members. In turn, we received reports on the work done every week. Already in the first month of development, we launched the mvp version of the project and there are even real users there. At the moment, the development is ongoing and will be for quite some time, because in our plans to add a lot of necessary functionality. Managers, developers, testers, a copywriter are currently working on the project, and other specialists will be involved.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The results actually exceeded expectations, as we managed to launch, albeit a very modest mvp version of the project, in just a month, but it is working and bug-free. In addition, the team really understands how and what to do, and this gave us the opportunity to attract real users to the platform in such a short time and even get user's feedback and subscribers. It's incredible, we happily continue to work with Redentu

Project Manager does all needed things, so we are calm and see that the work is being done. We were provided with all updates and statuses, deadlines, reports, etc. We just watch and enjoy the result its awesome

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

what they recommend really works and makes sense. All without exception, this is the team that is worth listening to. They offered us many changes to our own ideas and we do not regret listening to them

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

maybe...I don't know to be sure. But as for me, as for my team we are completely satisfied

I’m the founder of MS Agency, a marketing and design agency. We design print ads for well-known beauty brands. We also do some online design and help with social media and SEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Redentu?

Before the COVID-19 pandemic started, we were mostly in the office, and we communicated and created projects. Afterward, we predicted we needed to start working more remotely. We wanted to bring it online and make it trackable by creating a tool to help us track our employees with how they’d be working and what they’d do.

We came up with an idea for a software to help us see how efficient our employees were while working remotely. We needed it to work from any device they’re operating. It was necessary to create a software that we could install on our computers and devices, so we didn’t have to go with a subscription-based solution.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We first had Redentu do some market research to tell us what already existed in the market. That way, we could see what kind of software was there, and we could copy it for ours. They checked Upwork, HubSpot, and DeskTime and descriptions of certain features and developed the app for us.

We can count on the app that we have now and install the software on our computers. We can track the time the employee is working from desktop and from mobile devices. It’s available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and other systems. The software can also do screenshots for a certain amount of time. We can set it every 1 hour 37 minutes, and the employee doesn’t know that. The employees know at any time that they can be screenshotted, but they don’t know when which creates the lack of desire to go to another website or social media while at work. 

The software also gathers the information on how often the employee clicks on a touchpad or on the mouse, and we can see how they operate. They developed a browser extension and the software itself for us as a full circle solution that helps to control the work process and analyze the efficiency of each employee. 

We’re currently working completely remotely, so Redentu created a built-in feature with an automatic report that we can see. For a client, since they pay an hourly rate and want to know what they actually paid for and whether the person working on the project is really working during this hour, we can download this report in the form that we need and adjust it based on the information that is requested by the client. This builds trust between us and the client. 

They also developed a built-in project management system which is also efficient. We don’t have to use Slack or anything else because this is good for our internal team, and we can switch among the projects without being interrupted in their system, especially since we have different reports for every project, and they can run it at the same time.

What is the team composition?

There was one project manager, one UI/UX designer, seven developers, and two QA engineers. There may be more, but I don’t get into the big details. I spoke with the project manager most of the time.

How did you come to work with Redentu?

My partner had a friend who is a business owner. They had used Redentu’s services and recommended them. They said they did a good job and never tried to charge more, so we had a phone call with them and explained what we wanted. We agreed to start doing the project with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2020–March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When we were developing, our employees weren’t aware yet that they were being tracked. We didn’t tell them that there was an analytics system tracking how they work. After three months after the project started, we already had the prototype and we saw it on the computers of our employees. Some of them didn’t even know the prototype was there. For a few months, they were working without knowing that we were collecting information on how they work. After some time, we told them we were going to start measuring things. Through the internal analytic app, we noticed the productivity increased by 32%. It also showed that the rate of product closure was delivered faster by 15%. 

Therefore, my overall experience with them was good, and we saved money with this software rather than having to go with a subscription service. Currently, we’re in discussions with Redentu about a new project for a website for one of our clients.

How did Redentu perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was great. They were responsive and tried to always help and find a solution. Redentu came up with ideas for analytics, like showing how fast the employees close the project, which I really liked. 

My project manager dealt with them on a daily basis, and I was present on two of the weekly calls. They received emails with reports of what they’d done and if there were any issues, they fixed them very quickly. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Redentu came up with new ideas and proved they wanted to deliver the best solution for us on time and on budget. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

From my interaction with Redentu, I can’t say there’s something even minor that I’d recommend them to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with what you want and give them direction. It’ll ease the process. Sometimes, people say they want something creative and beautiful, but the definition of what’s beautiful can vary from one person to another. It’s important to have an understanding of what your main scope is.

They started with the analysis of my needs and the formation of requirements, then moved it to design, and finished off with development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. They successfully passed all steps of development. I'm not disappointed

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After completing the project, I immediately tried to use it in business. Of course, there were no results at the beginning, as we all got acquainted with the work of the system. But in a month we saw great results. It has become easier to process information and control all work moments.

In addition, last year Redentu connected my HRM system to devices that measure the temperature of employees and I receive a notification on my smart watch about ill people. It is very convenient at such time!

Their manager was in charge of all management. I do not know for sure, because I did not interfere in her work. But I know for sure that they worked on sprints and the manager was always in touch with me, kept abreast of all actions, updates, etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It seems to me that they are fans of their business. That's probably why they do so well. And also they are very easy and simple in communication))

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Our company is working on a software-as-a-service product for selling tickets and event organization. We also provide organizers with analytics services for email campaigns. We are based in Munich, Germany.

We needed to improve our customer base and website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Redentu created our new website using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Grunt.js, and the Assemble Handlebars framework. They are also working on our WordPress blog. We have worked with one developer from Redentu.

How did you come to work with Redentu?

I found Redentu on Upwork after reviewing 3 candidates. The other options didn't have the same level of technology expertise, while Redentu offered us everything we needed.

How much have you invested with Redentu?

The cost of Redentu's work was less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Redentu in October 2016. The website has been completed, but we're still working on the blog.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The quality of work is at a high level. Redentu also kept deadlines, which we appreciated. We've had no problems with the company.

How did Redentu perform from a project management standpoint?

I am working directly with Redentu's developer at the moment, but when I didn't have enough time for assigning tasks, their project manager took over. Redentu is open to different collaboration styles. We're using Trello for project tracking.

What did you find most impressive about Redentu?

Redentu helped us to improve our Google base on our public website, which is helpful for search engine optimization and Ad Words.

Are there any areas Redentu could improve?

I don't think so.

Our company has developed a platform allowing users to sell and exchange products and view listings on their friends' profiles. I am the co-founder and COO (chief operating officer). I am currently in a project management role.

What challenge were you trying to address with Redentu?

We worked on this project for 3 years, and it's quite complicated. We needed to launch in October 2016 with 100 initial local users for a test. We want to prove our e-commerce consumer platform that allows people to buy, rent, or borrow many goods.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Redentu has developed our website using the Laravel framework and custom JavaScript. We also have iOS and Android applications, but they were developed using another company.

How did you come to work with Redentu?

I did a project with them in 2015 and decided to do another engagement in 2016 since the first was successful

How much have you invested with Redentu?

The total cost of our project with Redentu was around $8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Redentu in August 2016 and are looking to have a long-term relationship. The beta version of our app was launched in November [2016], and we plan to continue development.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Redentu has always delivered according to our specifications. Their team was very cooperative, experienced, and knowledgeable.

How did Redentu perform from a project management standpoint?

There are very strong with collaboration and communication. Their development expertise is undeniable, and they managed the work well.

What did you find most impressive about Redentu?

They have great developers, and they offered helpful business suggestions. This aspect stands out, and they made the project and end product much better.

Are there any areas Redentu could improve?

They could improve their estimation for the timeline of the project. It wasn't bad, but it went over the schedule.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Redentu?

They have a very nice and friendly team with high skill. It's easy and painless for us to manage, and I suggest them because they will make you happy.
