RealizationZone was hired to create the website and online shop for MIÉR, our Swiss niche perfume brand. The project included presenting our brand and fragrances online, developing an e-commerce shop, and setting up the checkout and payment options. The aim was to provide customers with a professional, user-friendly experience that reflected the positioning of our brand.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website was launched, but the outcome did not meet our expectations. Despite an investment of more than CHF 13,000, we were dissatisfied with the design, user experience and checkout process. Some checkout fields appeared in English, the payment section displayed technical wording, and PayPal was not available as expected. We obtained several independent professional opinions, which reinforced our concerns about the quality of the website. As a result, we ended the collaboration and requested a partial refund of CHF 4,000.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Throughout the project, we felt that even minor criticism was quickly dismissed rather than openly discussed. When we raised concerns or requested changes, we were repeatedly warned that even small adjustments could lead to additional costs. This made us feel uncomfortable expressing our needs and left us with the impression that our feedback was not welcome. After the website was launched, we remained dissatisfied with the design, user experience and checkout process. In our view, our concerns were not resolved satisfactorily. After we ended the collaboration and requested a partial refund, the matter was handled through legal protection rather than through a personal conversation. We were also informed that the handover would involve an additional charge. Overall, we did not feel that our needs and concerns were adequately addressed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Unfortunately, based on our experience, we did not find a particular strength that stood out. We had chosen a local provider because we valued the possibility of a personal and constructive collaboration. However, the final result and the way our feedback was handled did not meet our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something RealizationZone could have done differently?

RealizationZone could improve its communication, openness to feedback, pricing transparency and quality control. In our experience, even minor criticism was quickly dismissed, and we were repeatedly told that small changes could result in additional costs. We would have appreciated a more constructive discussion of our concerns and a clear explanation of what was included in the project price. Greater attention to the website’s design, user experience and checkout process would also have made a difference. For example, some checkout fields appeared in English, technical wording was visible in the payment section, and PayPal was not available as expected. Finally, after we expressed our dissatisfaction and requested a partial refund, we would have appreciated a personal conversation and an effort to find a mutually acceptable solution.
