I’m the CTO and co-founder of Moon Infotech. Our company works on mobile app development, data migration, and as a Salesforce consultant. We work across several sectors, including pharmaceuticals, logistics, transportation, and travel and tourism.

What challenge were you trying to address with Readymatrimony?

One of our customers wanted to develop a matchmaking web solution, but because our in-house development team was overwhelmed, we decided to outsource the work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Readymatrimony developed a matrimonial website along with a companion iOS and Android application. We provided their team with documentation that outlined the scope of work, mock-ups, color schemes, and the features we wanted to be included during development. Additionally, we provided Readymatrimony with some examples of competitors’s websites. Their team then used Flutter to develop the UI; the site was developed using Node.js. 

The website serves as a dating website, but the end goal for each connection is marriage. On the site, users can register themselves or their relatives and connect with potential life partners.

We worked with the CTO and the project manager, although I remember 2–3 other teammates worked on the project. 

How did you come to work with Readymatrimony?

We searched on Google for a vendor with experience creating matrimonial sites. We also looked on Upwork and Freelancer; we saw the projects they’d posted on those sites. Readymatrimony specialized in developing matchmaking sites. Their experience set them apart from their competitors. After a series of discussions, we decided to hire Readymatrimony.

We invested around $15,000.

This project was from March 2020–April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I was happy with Readymatrimony’s work. While I don’t have any specific user or site traffic metrics from my customer, I can say that the solutions perfectly met their needs. 

How did Readymatrimony perform from a project management standpoint?

Readymatrimony completed the entire project, which was managed in Jira, on time. The project was laid out in milestones: the first included documenting the project tasks and platform features; the second was web development; the third was app development. The first deadline was missed by a few days, but since the project happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, it wasn’t a problem. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about Readymatrimony was their expertise in matrimonial website development. They’ve executed around 100 projects similar to mine, which was why I decided to hire them.

Since launching the website, we’ve accumulated around 50,000 active users.

Readymatrimony delivered the project within 50 days of starting our partnership. We didn’t use any project management tools because the solution was ready-made. The communication between our teams was very good through Skype or phone calls.

I appreciated how quickly they were able to deliver — their experience with other clients in our industry informed their work and helped us a lot.

The most impressive thing is their domain expertise in Matrimonial. This expertise has helped us a lot in Making product better , eg we were about to write our own algorithm for Astro match making , but they suggest we can have better results with less effort via a third party API
