BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

My company is called Studio Defalt and we are a branding studio here in Romania. I am the founder, brand designer, and strategist of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Raisis Software?

I was looking to properly showcase all my services and work, and show the world what I can do for them. I also want to show some case studies, as well as my own blog that I can potentially leverage in the future.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Raisis Software built and developed my website from scratch. I’m a designer, so the website has been designed by me. I’ve given them all my assets to create a great digital experience, including the static elements of the visuals, which they used to create a whole animated experience.

They integrated my website with a younger CMS called Microweber. They told me it was ideal for what I wanted since my website is a little bit more complex. This CMS has a drag and drop option that I can play with, especially when I’m creating my blog posts. I’m not really sure what else they used besides JavaScript.

Moreover, they integrated my social media accounts, mainly Instagram, into my website. Where things got complex is when they integrated the case studies. This is where I wanted people to see my projects through the lens of my own branding. It was tricky because of the animation, and the customized features I requested, such as the integration of audio testimonials, and newsletters.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact from the get-go was Razvan (CEO & Owner). At some point, he passed the project onto his employees when it was needed.

How did you come to work with Raisis Software?

One of my clients found Raisis through a campaign they ran.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested roughly around $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2020–February 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The general feedback was great — people loved it. It’s what I intended to create from the start. It could be a little bit too early to talk about the metrics, because I don’t have any analytics to run with since it’s still young. However, it has already helped me send big project proposals by showing my website to potential clients.

How did Raisis Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Our main project management tool was Asana, and it was great, especially since a lot of feedback was involved. There was a lot of back and forths, but they were always on board. Everyone was up to date, and everyone knew how to use it within their team — we absolutely had no problem.

We also had business routine calls because we developed into more than a partnership. There was so much work, and so much contact because the project needed it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with the speed at which they implemented some of the things I gave them. They moved quickly and they didn’t wait around. If they can’t get to it, they make sure they understand what they have to do to get to it.

I’m also happy about the communication as well. It’s nothing super formal with them, especially with Razvan. It felt more like a partnership rather than a client-vendor relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing. I would love to see them grow and onboard more professionals. I would love to see them elevate their marketing and efforts a little bit, but it’s nothing that I consider to be a downside. Rather, I’m hoping as a friend that they can get there.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re great, and you’re going to love them. I’ve just scratched the surface of what they can do because I only needed a website. I know they can build custom apps, software, solutions, and everything in between.

However, before working with Raisis, you should know what you want. As I’ve said, they move fast. If you know what you want, they won’t waste any time, and they won’t wait around for something to happen. Get the paperwork out of the way so they can get started on your project. Just make sure to come prepared.
