I'm CTO at Skoove / Learnfield. We build an app for learning piano on your own.

For what projects/services did your company hire Radency?

We were looking for a specialist in end-to-end test automation, starting with the Web (Customer onboarding flows), later also the mobile app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interviewed individual candidates

We hired Radency's consultant, and he became part of our regular "Commercial" team, responsible for the Web and mobile app.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

One test automation engineer

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The consultant built the Cypress coverage of the Web site practically from scratch and was able to cover a great deal of possible scenarios.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The consultant was part of the scrum team and had daily exchanges with the team. Their communication is very effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was especially impressive how the consultant managed to cover the great variety of Web browsers and possible screen sizes, which would often lead to bugs in the layout. Now they are all tested on a regular basis.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of now.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor via word of mouth hearing that they worked on similar software and have experienced flutter engineers

We worked together on first changing the UX of our app and then proceeeded to implement each feature. Afterwards our primary objective was to fix bugs and add additional features as needed.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had 1 UX engineer, 1 tester, and 2 flutter engineers

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Outcome is that we are now on the app store and a stable product

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked together via standups every morning making sure they were delivering on time. Occasionally we had to speed up development and we were not disappointed by their fast delivery.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their engineers were very bright and loved to learn new technologies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We hoped that we could get more attention in stabilizing the app but due to the war in Ukraine, it's totally reasonable to have less resources available.
