I’m the co-founder of balloner i byen, a business that caters to different holiday events, weddings, and other joyous occasions. We deliver balloons across the European Union.

We hired QuickBlox to help us manage client requests.

What was the scope of their involvement?

QuickBlox transferred one of our websites from a custom development platform to their CMS. They designed the frontend, developed content, and integrated the site. They continue to maintain it. The team also helped us with WordPress development and some custom development for paid templates.

What is the team composition?

I communicated with Igor (Lead Android Developer, QuickBlox), who reviewed our specifications and sent us the work for approval. There were other developers and a designer on the project, but I’m not sure how many.

How did you come to work with QuickBlox?

I met Nate (Chairman, QuickBlox) at an event. He talked about the possibility of helping us with our business. After speaking with my partner, we decided that they could be a convenient solution for us.

They worked with us between February–April 2019.

We hired QuickBlox to create a custom website for us, and they've delivered.

How did QuickBlox perform from a project management standpoint?

We created an agile backlog of tasks on Trello. Igor provided us with reports on specific tasks. We didn’t have any problems with deadlines; they generally delivered everything I requested on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The difference between other offshore developers and Quickblox is the high-quality results they delivered. They gave us what we wanted, understood the scope quite well, and wrote requirements in English.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This was a one-time job for us, so I couldn’t say.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided a VR solution and customization as well as WordPress development for our local website. We had some problems with HTML and scripts that they helped us with.

With QuickBlox’s API, they helped us to manage everything. We have permanent access to the database and can request rapidly any plans, ideas, or questions about how to rent a specific car.

I spoke with a technical person from their side who communicates to the team. My technical specialists provide their requirements and QuickBlox delivers what we need.

We found them and were satisfied with them.

We worked together from November 2017—February 2018.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our employees really appreciate the database. It’s user-friendly and easy to service our clients. Quickblox configured it to a tee and it’s almost impossible to make an error . We have launched the system and the client portal , and expect both features to further optimize our services .

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Quickblox conducted regular meetings through Skype. They responded to emails and phone calls extremely quickly. Their team was very knowledgeable and delivered various beta versions throughout the project. They made sure we understood why certain parts needed to be more user-friendly. Working efficiently, they made sure to solve issues as quickly as possible. They were very upfront with timeframes and always met our deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I have understanding of technical information, but they were excellent at simplifying complex information to accommodate me. Quickblox is very prompt when responding to us and they go above and beyond to satisfy our demands.

Quickblox is a team of experienced performers. We were looking for a team in the workforce that could perform tasks for a certain time and with a limited budget. Many companies will tell you that they can bring all kinds of benefits to your business, but they will not fulfill them.
