I’m the founder of Sortbox, an all-in-one HR and business management platform that helps manage employees, payroll, attendance, projects, finance, and performance from one system.

We hired Qloron to design, develop, and maintain our platform. The objectives were to build a scalable and secure web application, implement core business features, improve UX, optimize system performance, integrate required third-party services, and provide ongoing technical support and enhancements as the business grows.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qloron has been responsible for the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our platform. The scope of work has included gathering business requirements, UI/UX design, backend and frontend development, database architecture, API development, cloud deployment, security implementation, testing, bug fixes, and continuous technical support.Key deliverables have included employee management, attendance and leave management, payroll and salary management, recruitment and applicant tracking, performance management and employee evaluations, role-based access control and user management, business operations dashboard and analytics, document and asset management, notifications and workflow automation, reports and data export, third-party integrations, and ongoing maintenance, feature enhancements, performance optimization, and technical support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Qloron has delivered a scalable, secure, and customizable platform that supports our HR operations and overall business management processes while enabling future enhancements as business requirements evolve. The project has delivered measurable improvements in the efficiency and scalability of our HR and business operations.Key outcomes have included the successful deployment of a centralized HR and business management platform, automation of manual workflows, improved employee and business data management, faster processing of HR tasks such as attendance, leave, payroll, and recruitment, enhanced reporting capabilities, and stronger data security through role-based access controls.We’ve reduced manual HR administrative work by around 50%–70%, cut attendance and leave processing time from hours to minutes, reduced payroll preparation time by around 60%, centralized 100% of employee and HR records into a single platform, and eliminated duplicate data entry across multiple spreadsheets and systems. We’ve also achieved user adoption across HR and management teams after deployment.Most operational improvements have become noticeable within the first 1–2 months after deployment. As users have adopted the platform and core HR and business processes have been centralized, we’ve experienced smoother workflows, reduced manual effort, faster processing of routine tasks, and improved access to business data. Additional improvements have continued over time as new features and enhancements have been implemented.

How did Qloron perform from a project management standpoint?

Qloron has demonstrated strong project management throughout the engagement. They’ve maintained clear communication, provided regular progress updates, and responded promptly to feedback and change requests. Project milestones have been well managed, and deliverables have been completed according to the agreed timeline.When additional requirements or enhancements have arisen, they’ve communicated the impact clearly and adjusted the project plan accordingly. Overall, the project has been delivered on time, and the team has remained responsive and collaborative throughout the implementation.We’ve communicated via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our overall experience has been positive. As with any software project, there have been occasional adjustments as requirements have evolved, but Qloron has communicated these changes clearly and responded quickly. We don’t have any significant areas for improvement to highlight.
