I’m the owner of a small investment firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Purple Falcon Partners?

We needed a partner to function as an IT support team for our organization.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team at Purple Falcon Partners handles any hardware and software issues we come across. They provide solutions for problems with anything from our servers to our cloud backups. 

The team is mostly off-site but occasionally come to our office for support.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with two people, but everyone in our office has the ability to reach out to theirs directly.

How did you come to work with Purple Falcon Partners?

We’d previously worked with another firm for about 13 years, but they were acquired by a larger company and we felt we were no longer getting the same service. 

We found Purple Falcon Partners online, and felt they fit our size and needs better than our former provider. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our project began in September 2019 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since they provide an ongoing service, it’s difficult to measure success in terms of metrics. 

However, the team has done an excellent job of providing support quickly and efficiently whenever we have an issue, which is the service we needed most.

How did Purple Falcon Partners perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed really well. We’re pleased with their communication and reliability. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Purple Falcon Partners has provided hands-on service from the start. When we had our initial review, they did an excellent job of letting us know what services and resources we did and didn’t need, which we really appreciated.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We don’t have any complaints so far.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re clearly knowledgeable about what they do, so take the time to speak with them and listen to what they have to say. Anybody would be happy with the service Purple Falcon Partners provides.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the V.P. of I.T. and a co-founder of the company. We are a lead generation company that uses both an internally created system, as well as 3rd party tools. We have both a web form based lead generation system, as well as a call center.

For what projects/services did your company hire Purple Falcon Partners?

We used PFP to help us work through issues with DOS attacks to our web form side as well as attempts to hack our logins for remote desktop.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to

1) find the best method(s) to remove the threat of DOS attacks, and

2) implement the best solutions (vpn, setting, other 3rd party software) to mitigate our issues.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I reached out to PFP for help.

Describe the project in detail.

I described the issues we were having with the attacks, which were causing our servers to refuse connections. At the same time we had hundreds of attempts per hour of hackers trying to hack our credentials to gain access using RDP.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with the company owner. He investigated the issue and came back with serveral options to help mitigate the issues.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After we implemented the solutions recommended by PFP, we saw an immediate drop in DOS attacks. The RDP threat was completely eliminated.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

After describing our problem, PFP handled the research and solution process. They came back with a solution when finished. So interaction was really minimal since the problem was well-defined.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were easy to talk to, available almost any time, and were very responsive. The came up with a solution very quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None I can see.
