A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of a charity online marketplace.
What challenge were you trying to address with Pseudosquare?
We needed help creating our MVP.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Karamat (Web and Mobile App Development Trainer) came on board and took on the challenge of putting together the missing pieces for our web development project. They used Ruby on Rails to change how our payment processor worked on the backend.
What is the team composition?
We only worked with Karamat.
How did you come to work with Pseudosquare?
I reached out on a Ruby on Rails Facebook page to find Ruby developers. Their business partner got in touch, and we formed a relationship from there.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $2,000–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2019, and we wrapped up in July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They fulfilled all of their promises. Karamat gave a huge amount of his time for free since he had a passion for our mission. I found the relationship to be really authentic. Karamat brought a real element of leadership to the team as well.
How did Pseudosquare perform from a project management standpoint?
We used Wrike for project management and we communicated via Telegram. It worked really well for us and worked well for development ticketing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They work in Pakistan, and they had an amazing promise to fulfill the work. Their commitment and dedication were truly inspiring. Karamat’s English was also really great.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to lead with purpose. It’s also important to give a creative challenge that doesn’t box the solution.
