I’m the executive of a venue that hosts private events and weddings.

What challenge were you trying to address with PROJECT DIV?

We needed help to design our site.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

PROJECT DIV developed our website from scratch on WordPress in a way that’s customized for our business model. Through the site, people can pick a date and take a tour of our facilities. They also can see the different types of events that we host and the catering we do. In addition to that, the platform has a full 3D floor plan for event planners to see.

PROJECT DIV’s efforts also include ongoing hosting and support — those are additional services and additions.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Virgil (Owner), and he was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with PROJECT DIV?

We had other web designers and IT technicians that weren’t able to build my site. I reached out to PROJECT DIV, and they gave us an informative initial meeting regarding what direction to take.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend $4,000–$5,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–July 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We increased our number of users thanks to the database they created. They built a beautiful platform that improved the relationship with our customers and their inquiries.

How did PROJECT DIV perform from a project management standpoint?

They were excellent. We communicated via email, text, and phone calls. We don’t talk to each other that often now because we’re more familiar with the website, but they’re always accessible if I need them. They still give me suggestions in terms of technicalities and social media implementation on our site.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were up to date with technology and different business trends. They were also able to understand us much better than other providers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Have an initial meeting with their team to clearly explain your business model so they can create a blueprint for your project. They’re great at dissecting and getting straight to the nuts and bolts with different business models.
