I’m the senior sales manager at BP India Private Ltd.

What challenge were you trying to address with ProAMs?

We needed additional manpower for our Bangladesh sales operation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided resources for sales and marketing positions. We have distributors in Bangladesh, but we didn’t have any campaign people. The resources that they provide are helping us in selling to various customers.

What is the team composition?

There are five people on the senior level and four people on a junior level.

How did you come to work with ProAMs?

I was recommended to them. They had a good profile, and they were very straightforward and clear in their dealings.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent under $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2019, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They plan meticulously, and they provide full-time resources that we’re happy with. They’re doing well. They’re timely and provide all the services that we need.

How did ProAMs perform from a project management standpoint?

We guide them in what they should do. We’ve not had any issues with communication and they’re always on time. We communicate on a daily basis via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provide whatever services it is that we need. Their performance is good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they gave us the right guidance in terms of Bangladesh’s local processes. We’re happy with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Define whatever services you require. Agree at the beginning, sign a contract, and start working together. They follow all the rules of the country and can guide you in what needs to be done. They may charge a little higher but they follow everything properly.

I’m the director of Compandben SA, an international HR consultancy based in Switzerland. Our services include payroll outsourcing, employer of record (PEO) services, and international HR support.

What challenge were you trying to address with ProAMs?

We have international partners who serve as local employers of record. We set companies up with these local PEO service providers. We rely on ProAMs as our provider of services that's based in Bangladesh.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We link up ProAMs with third-party clients who are looking for services based in Bangladesh. We’ve typically used them for short-term contracts, although it depends on the third-party client.

What is the team composition?

We just work with Ziaush (Founder).  

How did you come to work with ProAMs?

We’ve worked with ProAMs for over ten years. I believe they were recommended to us by another payroll provider.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership began in September 2010, and it’s ongoing.  They’re currently only on one active contract, but they’re available for us to rely on in future projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We receive around $2,000 a month, due to the fees associated with connecting them with our third-party client. It’s nice to have someone you can trust in a developing country. Their support in that region has enabled us to look good, since it’s allowed us to expand our coverage.

How did perform from a project management standpoint?

Ziaush is very organized and prompt in answering questions, which can be a rare quality in international operations. He understands our questions quickly and always keeps his word.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’d highlight how upright and organized Ziaush is.

Are there any areas they could improve?

He could be a little more proactive in providing us with business. We’ve brought business to them. It can be a little frustrating when providers don’t return the favor by bringing third-party clients back to us, so we would appreciate some increased reciprocation on that end.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending them. Take a bit of time to get all your questions, and to clarify all the information you want to gather, before you make contact with them. I believe that advice applies to working with any foreign client or offshore provider.
