We needed help developing our social media mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

PrimeVision has developed our social media mobile app, and it’s available for iOS and Android. It allows truck drivers, technicians, transport companies, and mechanic shops to share information. 

They’ve already finished developing the app, and they’re just tweaking it. They’re also handling the app’s advertising efforts.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with the owner and two other resources.

How did you come to work with PrimeVision?

I found PrimeVision through a Google search. I met with them and explained what I wanted, and I found them very knowledgeable.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent $18,000 CAD (approximately $14,000). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since July 2020, and our collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

PrimeVision successfully developed our app. 

How did PrimeVision perform from a project management standpoint?

PrimeVision has stayed within their budget throughout the project. I appreciate that I’m in contact with their owner — they’ve ensured I’m satisfied before receiving payment. We’ve had face-to-face meetings initially, but we’ve mostly communicated through telephone and WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Whenever I ask something, PrimeVision gives me an answer — they are responsive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

You can talk to them and share information about what you want to do. They will listen, and they collaborate really well.

I’m the owner of an e-commerce website where I sell my cultural clothing, like abayas and headscarves.

What challenge were you trying to address with PrimeVision?

I was looking for someone who could develop my website to make it more attractive and help me generate sales.

What was the scope of their involvement?

PrimeVision built my Shopify website, working to make it more mobile responsive and attractive to customers. PrimeVision fixed bugs and optimized site images to improve page loading speed. They also helped me make the site more appealing when shared via social media.

I gave them images and descriptions for my product pages and described my vision for how I wanted the site to look with regard to the color scheme and such.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two people from PrimeVision to develop my website. One of them wrote down and formalized ideas, and the other person executed the development.

How did you come to work with PrimeVision?

I found them through Instagram. I followed them, looked them up online, and contacted them.

How much have you invested with them?

I paid PrimeVision about $11,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I began working with PrimeVision in August 2019, and the work was complete within three weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, their work has helped generate more sales and make my site more attractive. After PrimeVision built my website, I got more social media followers. I got more likes, more messages, and more sales. When I ran ads on Instagram, those ads performed much better than before. 

I realized that people were responding better to the new site because it looked trustworthy and legitimate. The new site looked attractive on desktop, mobile, and social media platforms. It helped a lot with building customer trust and created much more revenue than before.

How did PrimeVision perform from a project management standpoint?

PrimeVision managed the project excellently. They usually completed work earlier than the timelines I had given them. Whenever I requested changes, they were very responsive.

Within a few hours, they would send me an update of how they’d implement the changes and when they would work on it. They were very attentive, responsive, and supportive of my needs. We used Google Meet for face-to-face meetings. I had their phone numbers, as well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

PrimeVision gave me the freedom to communicate my dream and vision for how I wanted the website to look. They listened closely to feedback and didn’t force me to build my site according to their own opinions. They were very understanding if I needed something from them. PrimeVision lived up to my expectations, and the site they built was what I’d envisioned.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I had a great experience with PrimeVision. If anything, I would say they could expand the team and their workforce, but the people that they assigned to me in terms of my scope and project were good.

Have a plan ready. Present your outline to PrimeVision, and they will fulfill your vision.

I am the Principal at ReSolve Research Solutions, Inc.

For what projects/services did your company hire PrimeVision, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile equity based coaching and leadership app for our users. It needed to be interactive and have components for self reflection and completion of various activities.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online and interviewed a couple of companies. Prime Vision was the one with the best fit and local reach.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a phased approach that started with identifying the scope of work. Once that was completed the initial prototype was developed that presented style and aesthetics of the app. It then went into a phased deployment and final changes.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project manager was key to this project. The technical experts where available to make changes as required.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app was launched on Apple and Google Play in two months. I was absolutely impressed by the professionalism, help given and timeliness of the process. I have created different versions of the content (book and web based) and this app is a dream come true.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager kept everything on time and kept reminders coming of what was needed from my end to keep the progress going. Examples of key components required to some components of the app were shared to make the entire process easy (especially for someone like me who does not understand everything involved in creating an app).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to adopt my idea and create an application that is 100% based on my specifications was impressive. I did not think it was possible. I was impressed with the attention to detail and their commitment to ensure that my style was reflected throughout the app. No detail was too large or small.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. This was one of the smoothest transactions I ever had!

I am the owner of a social media marketing company. I generate leads and sales to give small- and medium-sized businesses a return on their Internet marketing investment.

I needed to develop multiple websites.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built two of my websites, both of which incorporate a lot of psychological tools. They are also going to develop iOS and Android applications for my ticket company. The apps, which are integrated with the cloud, will allow users to compare prices and buy event tickets directly.

What is the team composition?

I communicate directly with Zaid Asmal [CEO/Founder, PrimeVision] and his team.

How did you come to work with PrimeVision?

I have known Zaid since we were younger, and we have an established relationship. He has exceeded my expectations.

How much have you invested in them?

Less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in March of 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Both websites work well. I constantly compare them to other websites in my niche, and they are always willing to make adjustments.

How did PrimeVision perform from a project management standpoint?

They are excellent, although I sometimes delay the projects. We are located near each other and mostly communicate via telephone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When it comes to websites, they know what they are doing and can complete any task that I ask of them. My websites convey the same professionalism as the platforms of the world’s top marketing agencies. I like working with them, and Zaid is always on top of his work. They get the project done quickly at an excellent price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would appreciate if they could accept credit card payment. Apart from that, I have nothing negative to say.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Know what you are doing beforehand. I didn’t know my stuff, which made it troublesome for them to make changes.
