BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the vice president of business development at ADA Compliance Team, Inc. Our team works within the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sphere to help lawyers and clients win lawsuits in line with the violation of ADA laws.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Primedia Digital?

We needed a new development team to update our website according to our clients’ needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We weren't getting anywhere with the previous development team that we hired — our website looked outdated, and the preferences we established were not delivered to us at all. We asked Primedia Digital to take over the development procedure and help us identify how we could improve our website based on our clientele.

We kicked off our engagement through a brainstorming session wherein Primedia Digital’s team presented a prototype of how they wanted our website to look like. We spent three weeks getting all the necessary tools and content, discussing the web layout, and designing the web pages. The team then developed our site through WordPress, while we reviewed it once in a while for any content and design changes. We wanted to make sure that the platform was both interactive and user-friendly.

Our partnership was collaborative as we really wanted to get our message across to our clients through the website. We integrated special features such as an information panel regarding the usual summons and complaints that most people would go to our website for and a tab called Resources for Attorneys, specifically for attorneys handling cases concerning ADA violations.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact was Max (Digital Marketing Manager), who was in charge of communicating our needs to their tech resources.

How did you come to work with Primedia Digital?

I found their team online after looking for a local agency to help us with our development needs. They sent me a quick overview of the approach they were planning to implement and some keywords to identify our ideal market more effectively. I was pleased with their innovative ideas, so hiring them on the same day of their presentation wasn’t a difficult decision to make.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $5,000–$6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project ran from February–May 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We just had our product launch a few weeks ago, so there are no consistent metrics that speak of increased engagement yet. However, we asked our wide range of clients for their feedback on our new platform, and they definitely raved about its layout and user-friendliness. We’re now monitoring the metrics we set, and we’re looking forward to boosting our online presence and customer service through our new website.

How did Primedia Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicated via Zoom and phone calls. I’d gladly rate their project management approach a 10 plus out of 10 — everything was just on-point. They were very keen on applying alterations based on our preferences, and they complied with all our requirements with the perfect balance of patience and expertise.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I especially liked Max’s technical expertise and professionalism. We weren’t equipped with the knowledge required to build a website, but he was very patient with explaining everything to us and making sure that we’re not left out over the course of this complex process. As a team, Primedia Digital was responsive and receptive to our suggestions — their agreeable work ethics rewarded us with an exciting, collaborative experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’d appreciate it if they put extra effort into simplifying technical information for us. Considering our age, we’re not very updated with technology anymore, so we prefer simpler methods. However, this could be on my preference alone as I’m well aware that Primedia Digital did their part in trying to make the tech process more digestible for us.
