What was the scope of their involvement?

Presage Global’s scope of work was loosely defined and primarily limited to high-level corporate and security training concepts. The expected deliverables included structured training programs, practical materials, and clear implementation guidance. However, most outputs remained generic and conceptual, with limited customization to our actual operational needs. Several promised components were either delayed or delivered in a very basic form, requiring significant internal rework on our side. Overall, the scope lacked depth and tangible, actionable deliverables, which reduced the practical value of the engagement.

Presage Global delivered a limited set of materials, including high-level training outlines, slide decks covering general corporate and security concepts, and brief written summaries of best practices. The content was largely generic and not tailored to our organization or industry specifics. Practical elements such as detailed curricula, scenario-based exercises, assessments, and implementation guides were either very minimal or missing, which required our team to substantially revise and supplement the materials to make them usable.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There were limited measurable outcomes from the engagement. While initial awareness of corporate and security training concepts improved at a high level, there were no clearly defined KPIs, benchmarks, or assessment results provided to demonstrate tangible progress or effectiveness. Any perceived improvements were difficult to quantify and largely depended on internal follow-up.

After the project concluded, our internal team had to take several follow-up actions to try to measure and achieve progress. This included redesigning the training materials to better align with our operational realities, developing our own assessment criteria and KPIs, and creating scenario-based exercises that had not been provided. We also conducted internal workshops and feedback sessions to evaluate knowledge retention and practical applicability, as no formal evaluation framework was delivered as part of the engagement.

Any quantifiable improvements came primarily from our internal efforts rather than from the original engagement. We observed modest improvements in knowledge retention and awareness after conducting internally developed workshops and assessments, but these results were not tied to predefined benchmarks or metrics established by Presage Global. Improvements in security practices were incremental and difficult to attribute directly to their materials, as most of the structure, measurement, and implementation had to be created internally after the project ended.

How did Presage Global perform from a project management standpoint?

Presage Global’s project management was inconsistent. While some materials were delivered within the general timeframe, deadlines were often flexible and required follow-up from our side. Communication via in-person and virtual meetings, email, and messages around timelines and deliverables lacked clarity, and several items were delivered later than expected or without sufficient detail. Overall, the project required active oversight from our internal team to keep it moving and to ensure any usable output was ultimately delivered.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

Presage Global demonstrated a strong ability to speak at a high level about corporate and security topics and brought a broad, global perspective to discussions. However, this strength was largely conceptual rather than practical, and it did not consistently translate into tailored solutions or concrete deliverables for our specific needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Presage Global could have significantly improved the project by providing clearer structure, stronger project management, and more tangible, customized deliverables. The engagement would have benefited from clearly defined goals, timelines, and success metrics from the outset. Additionally, the training materials lacked depth, practical application, and relevance to our operational environment. More proactive communication, better expectation management, and a focus on actionable outcomes rather than high-level concepts would have made the collaboration far more effective and reduced the need for extensive internal rework.
