Masport manufactures vacuum pumps and vacuum pump systems. I am the Marketing Direction and Customer Service Manager

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had worked with PLAY at my previous employer and they did such a wonderful job that I wanted to use them at my new employer.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We had an initial meeting discussing who the target audience is for our products and knew we had 2 products we wanted to start advertising. Our industry and products we sell are different compared to the every day consumer, so the usual tactics and marketing messaging take some trialing out.

Instead of targeting those to purchase online, we wanted more brand awareness and new product awareness. We have gradually added marketing to encourage the end consumer to purchase from our online store so we can start growing our online store sales.

We meet on a monthly basis to review the stats and discuss if we need to update anything. It's very much a team discussion where they make their recommendations and if we, as the client, feel we really know our audience and want to try something different, they're very receptive and easy to work with.

We've worked with the owner, co-owner, project manager, FB guru, Google guru

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're continuing to see clicks on the ads that we're advertising, which leads to those reaching out to us about our products. We're also seeing an increase in online sales.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They've been great! They let me know when they need things by to launch new campaigns or update campaigns and I have yet to run into a delay with them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How receptive they are of our requested approaches based on who our audience and product is. We're different from the usual e-commerce client. Our products are very technical and not everything we offer can be purchased online.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing! They're doing a great job.
