I'm the Project Manager at FasolApp. Fasol App is an online music school offering 1 on 1 music lessons for people all over the world.

We required a unique multifunctional product that took into account current market trends and had its own distinctive features. Plavno should develop a full-featured LMS platform, allowing lessons to be conducted via video link. There was a request for detailed statistics and analytics. Collection and analysis of data in all role reservoirs: for administrators, tutors, and users. Additionally, we required a mobile application

We chose among several companies, Plavno already developed similar services, they had experience and a good staff of strong programmers.

We had several meetings where we described the project and detailed what we wanted. We were given design layouts, and we made edits. The work went very quickly, the team responded to our comments and communication was at the highest level. After that, Plavno began developing a web application, the technology is very complex, so the team worked hard to do their job and corrected bugs in a timely manner. Plavno developed and benchmarked available market products and technologies.

The backend and frontend architecture was developed:

• A specially designed call server that allows scaling the service horizontally based on Kurento
• Server-based video multi-stream recording/transcoding
• WebRTC based video-calls on web and mobile
• HQ Audio streaming/broadcasting
• Chat service

CTO was involved in the process of the project, which was very nice. The team consisted of a designer, a front-end developer, 3 back-enders, and a QA. Later on, other developers were involved in mobile application development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since the launch of our LMS platform, our lead generation process is much better. Conversion to purchase has increased, as well as the LTV has increased from 1 month to 4 months. Our customers were thrilled with the service and business began to grow many times faster.

I was the project manager of the Fasol App, and I communicated with the team lead. We used Slack, GitHub, and Jira. Worked on sprints, so we even managed to release the project a month early.

They have a lot of experience in developing various projects. The price of developers on the market is not the highest, given that the company employs true professionals.

I can't think of anything. Our project was challenging, but they did better than expected.

Plavno was engaged to support the initial phase of MVP development for RFPrime. Their role included helping define the detailed technical and functional requirements for the MVP. The ultimate goal was to develop an AI-powered platform to automate the tender creation process. This included early-stage technical scoping, solution architecture input, and preparation for the development of the MVP.

First of all, we evaluated Plavno across key criteria: meeting deadlines, efficiency, speed, accuracy, professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness. I must say, we were assessing six subcontractors simultaneously, and Plavno stood out as the best across all these areas. We’re genuinely impressed by their team.

They consistently delivered on time, often even faster than expected. In fact, there were many instances where they were waiting on us, not the other way around. Despite us occasionally being late by a week or two with our responses, BlobNow never missed a single deadline. They are exceptionally professional, with a strong team in place, especially the project manager, CTO, and sales manager - Renata, whom we had the pleasure of working with.
