Please describe your company and your position there.

I work for Crux Media as a production manager and client account manager. Our company specialises in creating engaging video content across the corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire PixelSavvy?

We hired Pixel Savvy for some animation work on a video we created for an IT company (Verizon).

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to create a visually interesting video to showcase an IT product that can traditionally be quite difficult to make exciting.

Utilising fast-paced animation helped give the videos the polish they needed to achieve this.

How did you select PixelSavvy?

My team and I had previously met PixelSavvy when Ethan got in touch with us and showed us his portfolio. We had Ethan do some trial work for us on an earlier project and were impressed with the quality and efficiency

Describe the project in detail.

The project was to deliver a small suite of explainer videos outlining a specific feature of Verizon IT work.

What was the team composition?

The team at Crux working on this project consisted of a producer, a videographer and an editor.

Once the video reached post-production stage, our producer engaged Ethan to work on the sections of the video that required animation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video was created for a third party and any outcomes were not shared with us, however they were very happy with the product that was created and it was shared with their very large customer base.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow worked really well, Ethan was able to provide files and info that our internal team were able to slot into their workflow seamlessly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

PixelSavvy were communicative, collaborative and adaptable in their approach to this project the whole way through.

 I was impressed with the quality of their work and their willingness to go the extra mile to get the project over the line within a tight squeeze towards the end.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were really impressed with the final product and we have zero complaints, I think that PixelSavvy are on a path to creating even more great content in future and will do this through continous improvement.

Oppida needed 2 animated logos for client video's done ASAP.

How did you select PixelSavvy and what were the deciding factors?

I liked Ethan's profile.

Ethan was given 2 logo briefs and turned around a first draft very quickly. He was responsive and understanding about the need for small iterations. He delivered 2 animated logos with sound effects.
