BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a Cost Controller. We are specializing in the distribution and retail of the construction materials in the Philippines particularly more in North Luzon.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Pinch Digital, and what were your goals?

Due to the issues in communication in the field with Smartphone apps like Viber and Messenger our team proposed to our head of Tech and ITSec to create a company only intranet website portal for the staff team with features like Gantt project tracking, Invoicing, receipt upload and synced calendars.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with Sir Dairyll from Pinch Digital in the past thru referral and looked for him by chatting him on FB.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We are not sure regarding this but there are project Tracking, Invoicing, upload supported for Receipts for easier reimburse and synced calendars.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We are not sure but we directly talked to Dairyll who is one of the owners of Pinch. We only communicated thru email and Whatsapp.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We can confidently say 100% of the staff now use the intranet platform.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We communicated first thru FB but when the MSA was signed we now communicated in emails and Whatsapp. There were times when we needed immidiate support so we called using phone load. There are no issues from us with regards to timeliness.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed with their technical expertise. He can answer our questions in person without looking at his phone so we trusted him to know what technical needs are required for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We wanted someone to talk to during weekends because some of our team members in ITsec are only in the office on Saturday and Sunday but Dairyll and Pinch team do not work on weekends so we are left with no replies until the upcoming Monday.
