Pigeon developed and produced a 2.5D animated explainer video for a clean energy company. The process began with creating a variety of style frames based on provided references. Following this, an illustrated storyboard was developed from a script approximately two minutes in length. The final steps included animating the video and integrating voice-over, music, and sound effects.

Their project management was exemplary. They consistently delivered items on time, communicated effectively, and were flexible with additional changes and notes. What impressed me most about this company was their exceptional animation skills at an affordable price, coupled with their flexibility and ability to seamlessly incorporate feedback.

Are there any areas for improvement or something PIGEON STUDIO could have done differently?

While they consistently met deadlines, and told me when they were off for holidays etc, their email response times varied due to being on Polish time, which occasionally left me uncertain about their availability and when they would be online or leaving for the day. A bit more clarity around working hours would have been helpful so I knew when a quick response was coming vs the next day.

We approached Studio Pigeon with a ridiculously tight timeline and even more ridiculously ambitious expectations to create a stunning collage animation sequence for the opening of one of our films. They were truly impressive and simply outstanding with the speed and effectiveness with which they managed to pull off the entire project. 
From Rafal in design to Gosia in client servicing to Dawid in production, all the Studio Pigeon team members went out of their way to deliver a fantastic product. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

The project was divided into phases, each of which was delivered on time, in very high quality. Corrections were made very efficiently to move to the next stage. A thorough brief was gathered before the project started, so that the delivered results were perfectly aligned with our expectations.

I especially appreciate the excellent contact with all members of the team, the efficient communication, the openness to any comments, as well as the good sense of our stylistic needs. We hired Pigeon Studio to do an animated explainer video for our brand. We wanted it to be an animated video with a light and fun mood. the video had to be around 90 seconds, and it had to explain what Stey can offer to its customers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We contacted 6 teams via Dribbble and other channels. In the end we choose Pigeon because of the competitive price and quality of service.

We started with a meeting where I explained in detail what we wanted in the video. The pigeon team can back a few days later with a key illustration and the content for the VO. After we had confirmed the VO after a few rounds of back and forth, the team gave us the storyboard. After confirmation of the storyboard, Pigeon stared to work on animation and production. They regularly check in with us and showed us progress on the work so that we can be involved and updated.

We worked with 2 project managers that were excellent. They made sure that our project was in line with the time schedule and also warned us when decisions might affect the timeline.

We are now showing the animation to our clients, future clients, and business partners. Reviews were widely positive.

We ran the entire project remotely. At the beginning we discussed the brief in detail and studio prepered for use work schedule. First we got from Pigeon the sketches of the character. After the acceptation they created final look and gave us open files.
