Our company recently hired Passionate Design Agency to add functionality to our existing WordPress website, specifically to create a new resources area on our website. We needed a visually appealing and UX optimised page to showcase our analysis reports and youtube videos. Our goal was to create a page that was user friendly with clear calls to action for users to easily search through & download reports, and learn more about our services.

I selected them because while their graphic design is on point, they are engineers first, so I felt safe that they will maintain our SEO while migrating our site to a new platform.

While we hired them to create a replica of our website on Wordpress and Elementor, we decided during the process to do a redesign as well. Our needs changed midstream, and we focused on only one division of our company, which has been slated to launch, instead. Despite our changing needs, they worked with our edits, and ultimately produced a successful and well-designed site.

Website looks very professional.

They are very fast workers. I was often late reviewing the website or giving them further details. So I held up the project, not them.

They are a very capable company, and I found them very creative. They worked well with my marketing materials.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I liked the personality of the Account Manager and that is really why I chose them compared to other companies I met with. They are slightly more expensive than other companies, but I chose them as I felt like I could work with their Account Manager, however he left half way through the project. I feel like they need to replace him with another person with the same friendly, enthosiastic and trustworthy manner. As capable as the team is, I feel they can benefit from a bubbly, enthosiastic and friendly front, if that makes sense.

Our previous website was lacking as there were too many hands involved and different opinions and expertise in webdev, however Passionates saved the day at an impossible deadline and incredible customer service. Finally, potential customers can understand what it is we're doing as a company and can access all the information they need easily and intuitively.

We've done a Google search and checked current reviews to ensure the quality was up to our standards. Additionally, we've had a discovery call where we could express our expectations and discuss next steps.

We had a kick-off meeting first, then Passionates listed the required info and documents they would require to start off the work. Sadly, we didn't have everything quite ready on our end, but we discussed we'll work in parallel and always ensure we provide sufficient work for them to be able to carry on the work and still meet our tight deadline.

We've worked with several people, the CEO, Project Manager and the developer. All very helpful and approachable.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It is still too early to provide measurable feedback however, the difference is day and night and I can confirm Passionates were able to deliver despite the crazy deadline we've requested. They were very thorough and informative, and nothing was too much for them. Always quick to make changes and even offered recommendations which were very much appreciated.

We initially had a video call meeting, then occasional shorter meetings or calls as and when needed. I communicated with them through email of Figma comments, whichever made more sense considering the topic. We've also kept in touch via Slack messages when the timing was rather tight.

Big shout to Billie who is a Website Wonder Woman, nothing was too complicated for her and she was just so quick, literally making everything so easy to accomplish! Great communication and efficient.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were very happy with their service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Actually we will keep using them in the future too for updates or refresh of the website

Passionates was one of the agencies listed and after contacting them I quickly learned how easy they would be to work with. Gor and his team are completely aligned with best practices and how we think about marketing. 98% of our projects are taken care of through email or slack because we understand each other so well, which has been very helpful with our time zone differences. We want to work with the top 3% of marketers in the world, and Passionates looked to fit that description.

We put together all the content, copy, messaging, and competitive/company research. As conversion rate optimization experts, we are able to share websites that we like or know to convert well. We may give some simple direction such as "put some type of slider here" or "make this section more dynamic" and Passionates consistently exceeds expectations to deliver the most cutting-edge design elements. I have never worked with a website partner who was so good at running with ideas and making things even better than we envisioned.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Most efficient working relationship I've ever had with a creative partner. Indpendent workers who produce the highest quality of work possible. All project communication has been through slack or email (although they are always happy to get on the phone). They have a very efficient revisions process and in general work quickly for the quality they produce.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The depth of knowledge about website design best practices and the ability to work independently after providing the content. They are also amazing at making very fast websites that convert well - its not just a nice aesthetic. Its rare you are able to find people that can effectively balance those, and its the only company that has presented new design and ux elements I haven't seen before.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, everything was stellar! Only thing might be performing site speed audits along with website builds to help clients ensure their site is fast enough to convert. I believe that primary responsibility lies with the media and SEO teams, but it can be a life saver if those teams aren't mindful of site speed.

We initially reached Passionate Design Agency by email, and then we had some follow-up messages and a video call. We discussed our needs and what we wanted to do around the brand. The partners sent a questionnaire so we’d provide more background and details. We sent it back and agreed on the scope of work. 

They’ve done a couple of rounds of consultation. We provide feedback on the drafts and initial ideas. Then, they refine them into a second round. We take that and proceed with the process until we agree on the final version.

Additionally, they’re not involved with trademarking, but they’ve pointed us in the right direction.

We’ve mainly engaged with Gor (Co-Founder & CEO). George (Project Manager) is also involved in the emails.

We talked to another group, but Passionate Design Agency was personally recommended. We knew somebody who had used them, and they rated them very highly.

We started working with them in March 2022, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their overall brand concepts have been helpful. We had some good ideas initially, but they’ve broadened them and given us different lines to where we could go. In fact, the brand logo is quite different from what we started with, which is good.

Overall, we’re happy with the results. It’s a great logo and a prime starting point for our company.

How did Passionate Design Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent; we don’t have complaints. They’re good at prompting us for feedback and keeping things moving in the right direction. Also, they’re always very courteous and efficient. We appreciate that they take an active role rather than sitting back and waiting for us.

We mainly send emails back and forth to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The level of engagement and interest is excellent. They prompt us, provide feedback, and keep everything moving when our attention is on other things.

No, nothing springs to mind. Their comments and feedback are excellent, and they’ve gone beyond the scope of work. It’s been a great experience.

Be as forthcoming as you can about what you’re looking for. Also, provide timely feedback and communicate with them.

Two to three main contacts, they made everything easy so that we did not have to manage any of the technical or graphical aspects from our side.

The site launched incredibly fast, and looks amazing. We have already had 100% increase in inbound traffic and leads.

With the new e-commerce we are able to target people from different countries, accept payments in different currencies, and have an integrated fulfilment service.

There were a few times that they submitted work that needed small touch-ups, but they were very quick to always amend these issues.

After the transition, they offered training and support. The new WordPress site was built from scratch. During this process, they were also in charge of the project's design portion, recreating our former site's designs.

Passionate delivered a platform we can build on. The website is functional and meets our high standards; they delivered exactly what we asked them for.

Passionate delivered the site and made the migration quite quickly, meeting the expected timeline and staying within budget. We communicated via email and Zoom.

Passionate was very independent and didn’t need a lot of input. We only assigned them the task, and they got it done.
