Project management was easy to follow. Used industry standard tools to manage user stories, individual tasks, bug tracking and support tickets. All communication was directed through Slack and the project manager was almost always available and very responsive.

Always areas of improvement.

• Quotes do not include exhaustive testing, nor detailed documentation of how to use the product they build. As an Idea person and wanting to leverage the development team to ensure the product works without issue, I always want testing and am willing to budget to make sure the end user does not have issues.

OpenGeeksLab developed our cross-platform app from scratch; we didn't have anything laid out already. Their team started by designing the app's UX/UI, and we outlined the requirements for each module. Their team added many modules, including a design, account, and home and game screens modules. Once the modules and design were finalized, OpenGeeksLab put together the backend and linked a database to the app. 

Users complete the simple trivia game we've created and then have access to a spinner wheel to turn to determine which prize they'll get. We then send out the prizes. Users can provide feedback on the prizes they get, which we use to develop reports. We then pass these reports back to our brand partners.

The app is now live on the Android and Apple app stores. User satisfaction is our key metric, and we haven't had any major complaints from users. OpenGeeksLab delivered a quality app. The project was very successful because their deliverables were good

I interacted daily with OpenGeeksLab project manager through Skype and email. However, their project management could've been better, but it was still managed very well. We used Zoho to track tickets; we still use it now to track bugs.

In general, our partnership with OpenGeeksLab was very pleasant. Unlike other vendors I've worked with, their team didn't transform every issue into a budget change. Instead, they just rectified the issue and made the change we requested.

The platform was entirely made by OpenGeeksLab; they analyzed, planned, designed, developed, tested, launched, fixed, improved, and worked on add-ons. The team created the MVP in three months. Before the release, I spent over a month ensuring the product worked the way I wanted. I ran a focus group to gather feedback and opinions. So the next phase was a significant improvement of current features, considering users' needs and adding new options like an NFT auction, a video page, and a blurring effect.

The business project was still in it's infancy but we had a deadline to have a usable system up and running for IKEA in a very short deadline. We reached out to openGeeksLab, as we had worked before with them, to basically throw more resources to get us over the line.

This wasn't my choice at Shift, but Shift had worked previously with openGeeksLab and we already had a working relationship, so we weren't looking for any other vendors.

All the work was based in ReactJS, the solution we where building though was very dynamic in the sense that all the layouts where built using a json configuration object. It can take a little longer to think in a configuration pattern but the guys picked it up and offered helpful modifications.

After launch we had relatively few hotfixes to the code as the code was to such a high standard that it was pretty bullet proof.

We provided all our tasks on a JIRA board that the team had access too. We tried to make our tasks as detailed as possible to minimise back and forth comments. We had a Slack message group where the team could reach for any issues or clarifications on tasks. The team would submit their work on bitbucket, where we would code review and leave comments on their work

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

These guys are awesome! We brought them on board as we had a deadline fast approaching. They got us so far beyond the line, it was incredible. All in a few months! Incredibly talented, excellent English and no task was too much for them. Would give 6 stars if I could. Will hopefully work again with them in the near future.

Sometimes felt that more questions could have been asked for ambiguous tasks from us, before we reached the first code review.
